BRITNEY Spears flashed a little more than she anticipated during a recent performance - but thankfully she had made sure all bases were covered.
Britney, 36, took to the stage in Berlin, Germany, on Monday evening for her Piece Of Me Tour and entertained the crowds with both her music and dance routines.
But when one rather energetic segment proved too much for Britney's bra to handle, she demonstrated just what a professional she is.
Before heading out onto the stage, Britney had covered her modesty with a pair of black, lace nipple covers in preparation for such a faux pas.
This meant the mum-of-two was able to protect her modesty as she pranced around on the stage.
Britney's Piece Of Me Tour is her ninth concert tour since she found fame in the Noughties.
She kicked things off last summer, performing 11 shows in Asia, before taking a break to finish her Las Vegas recidency.
She then hit the road again in June this year, taking to the stage in the US before heading to Europe.
Last weekend, Britney jetted into the UK and entertained 50,000 fans at Brighton's Preston Park for Brighton Pride.
Midway through her performance, Britney turned to her dancer and said: "Where are we?"
They replied: “Brighton Pride,” and Brit shouted to the crowds: “What’s up Brighton Pride?!”
Britney's senior moment went viral on Twitter, although many fans didn't seem to mind and instead rushed to defend the Toxic singer.
One wrote on Twitter: "OMG I love her."
Another tweeted: "It’s hard for americans... they think the whole island is london."

Britney Spears is a living legend, a wonderful mother , and an absolute music phenomenon. She is also currently on her Piece of Me Tour.
On Saturday, she suffered a bit of a wardrobe malfunction while on stage. Specifically, it was a nip slip.
An insider close to the tour is dishing on exactly how Britney is reacting to the realization that she was flashing the entire crowd for a couple of minutes.
On June 14, Britney Spears experienced a nip slip — or rather, her audience did. Neither she nor her dancers seemed to notice for a full two minutes.
Now, a source explains to HollywoodLife that Britney’s nip slip was no big deal.
"Britney is so not bothered by wardrobe malfunctions," the insider reveals.
"At this stage in her career," the source continues. "They’re like second nature to her."
She’s had a lot of shows and a lot of costumes in 20 years.
"She just rolls with it," the insider explains.
It totally makes sense that Britney is unfazed by the nip slip. Realistically, the naked eye is not going to be able to spot the naked nipple on stage.
"She will," the source admits. "Make sure to use some stronger tape going forward though."
That’s smart. Just because you don’t freak out about something doesn’t mean that you want for it to happen again.
Britney will do this, the insider states, "as she doesn’t want to intentionally flash the audience!"
There’s nothing wrong with nipples, but they should only come out to play when you want them to.
There’s more than just Britney’s life experience that gives her such a calm attitude.
The insider explains, reminding us that "Britney is on stage every night pretty much."
This is a grueling tour. Thankfully, she’s in the best shape of her life.
Britney works hard to keep her body like this, and it pays off.
"And," the source continues. "She’s used to changing quickly in and out of outfits backstage."
The insider points out that these costume changes take place "in front of her dancers,"
Her dancers are all professionals — and plenty of them are changing clothes in these moments, too.
But Britney has grown accustomed to the exposure, the insider dishes, "so being naked doesn’t faze her."
Kind of like how your first no-clothes party in college was probably kind of awkward, but by your fifth you were grumbling about having to wear clothes to and from the party.
Britney is a world-savvy adult "and nip slips aren’t mortifying to her." the source explains.
Not, the insider points out, "like they would be to a lot of other people."
If, say, Taylor Swift were to have a wardrobe malfunction that led to her being partially nude on stage, it would be a huge deal.
Taylor is younger and is very deliberate about how much of her body she is willing to reveal.
Britney’s been at this longer and very naturally has become more accustomed to little slip-ups that can happen on stage.
It goes with the territory when you’re one of the greatest performers in human history.
Good for Britney for having a healthy sense of perspective!

BRIT Awards 2021 viewers got more than what they bargained for what HAIM won the award for Best International Group on Tuesday evening.
Sisters Este, Danielle and Alana were delighted to find out that they'd scooped the prestigious gong.
As the siblings got up off their seats and headed to the stage pick up the award, Este suffered an awkward malfunction.
The bass guitarist and vocalist, who was wearing a plunging black jumpsuit, accidentally flashed her nipple to fans watching at home.
Viewers rushed to their keyboard as they spotted the fashion faux pa.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "Ain't a Brit Awards without a nip slip is it lmao."
Another added:"BIGGEST NIP SLIP EVER!! I knew I watched for a reason loool."
A third person posted: "Bit of a nip slip there mate."
While a fourth joked: "Congratys Haim for winning best nip slip at the Brits 2k21."
A fifth social media user said: "Did I just see one of Haims nipple?"
Este's nip slip was not the only television moment which got viewers talking.
BRITs host Jack Whithall took a savage swipe at Piers Morgan as he opened the glitzy ceremony.
The 32-year-old comedian told the crowds that the O2 Arena had been "emptier than Piers Morgan's diary" since the coronavirus pandemic.
His comments come just weeks after Piers, 56, decided to quit his role on Good Morning Britain.
Coldplay opened the ceremony and were followed by singing sensation Dua Lipa.
As well as paying homage to the audience in the arena who were made up of frontline workers, the comedian also made a few jokes.
Following the gag about Piers, Jack continued to discuss how the easing of lockdown restrictions meant events could go ahead with social distancing regulations in place.
It was confirmed last month that the Brit Awards would go ahead with a live audience as part of the government's research into how live events might work after the pandemic.

In previous years some of the world's biggest stars have been left red-faced by sartorial slip-ups...from Madonna to Little Mix, no one is safe
So fans of the BRIT Awards will surely be looking forward to the annual ceremony, which takes place on Wednesday February 20 at London's O2.
And, while most will be watching for the music, others will be secretly hoping for a wardrobe malfunction, too.
After all, given the event's long-running history, that's pretty likely. In previous years some of the world's biggest stars have been left red-faced by sartorial slip-ups.
To celebrate them, here's a look back at the pop party's very best...
Forget Little Mix, this was little minx.
Jade Thirlwall fell victim to an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction thanks to her revealing red carpet gown.
Showing off her stunningly long legs in the expensive-looking white silk gown, strong winds threatened to show off a little more than she had bargained for.
The chart-topper was forced to hold down the front of her dress thanks to the sky-high thigh slip, which risked giving her a major Marilyn Monroe moment in front of the paparazzi.
He won the BRITs Icon Award in 2017, which made him the centre of attention.
But Robbie Williams was inadvertently upstaged - by one of his own backing dancers.
While celebrating his success with a live performance, one of his troupe slipped out of her (barely-there) bra top, leaving nothing to the imagination. Oops!
Thankfully, she was one of many on-stage before the live audience, but the camera didn't miss a thing...
Her band-mates all opted for daring, low-cut dresses.
Yet, ironically, it was Leigh Anne Pinnock who suffered the wardrobe malfunction during the 2016 ceremony - despite sporting a jacket.
Fans were divided over whether it was a deliberate bid for maximum limelight, but onlookers certainly didn't complain.
It was a mere six months after the Spice Girls hit the pop scene when Ginger Spice took to the stage in the now-famous Union Jack dress.
But it was later when she changed into another gown to accept an award that she suffered a wardrobe malfunction.
She flashed way more than anyone needed to see, and her fellow band mates couldn't contain their shock as they got an eye-full.
The singer made quite the arrival in her eye-catching gown. She got the wrong sort of attention though as she made her way in. Sans bra as she was wearing a backless numbers her nipples were front and centre as she braced the cold weather.
Her plunging gown was stunning but only had metal chains draped across the front drawing attention to her chest.
The BRIT awards Twitter account tweeted an up close and personal pic. Awkward.
Jodie Kidd was left red-faced as she accidentally flashed her Spanx following a wild BRIT Awards after party in 2016.
The model and racing car driver stunned at the ceremony in a tight black dress, but suffered the classic taxi slip as she left Sony Music's bash in the early hours of the morning.
As she sat back, her dress rode right up to reveal her nude-coloured underwear - with the unfortunate moment caught on camera before she'd realised what had happened.
Proving a pro however, Jodie recovered quickly and appeared in good spirits.
It was only last year when Abby flashed a lot more than she intended too. She was just arriving at the awards, posing up a storm in her tiny monochrome dress when it happened.
The 32-year-old's dress came apart revealing her pants to all photographers there!
Madonna donned a Matador cape as she sang Living For Love a few years ago.
She was stunning as always...until a dancer stood on her long cape sending her tumbling.
It was Madonna's first BRITs performance in 20 years and all it's remembered for is her topple.
Kudos to her for the recovery though.
