Was compared to Crawl though Crawl was 10x better. Was okay, had the guy that played the coward Jack McCall. Could always do without him. Movie arrived safe and played fine.

I waited to watch this movie for a long time. I love the title and I actually love the movie. It's rated PG13 so don't expect tons of gore unfortunately. Honestly for a movie about people trapped in a house with a tiger I would have liked more gore. However the movie itself is actually solid and the tension that it builds is real. There's the relationship between the sister and the brother which is built well. The brother is autistic which makes living through this situation even more challenging than it would already be. I think it's portrayed rather well. Some of the action scenes use a slow motion effect that I'm not super fond of. But for the most part there's a lot of tension and there's suspense. There's lots of good scenes where survival is the name of the game and it feels relatively real. I think the acting, is good I think the film is good. And for all the lack of gore, when the cat finally gets his meal it's satisfying enough for me. After waiting as long as I did to watch this movie I honestly wasn't disappointed. If I could do anything to change this movie I would film it with slightly more empathy for the cat, and I would make the scenes where gore is necessary a little bit more amped up. Otherwise I like this movie. It is a terrific concept that I think they did a really good job with.

What is eating Gilbert Grape ? A tiger that is what ! Like Gilbert Grape, Kelly has a brother with autism who is holding her back from her dreams. She also has a step-father with a tiger and a million dollars in life insurance policy on Kelly and autistic tween Tom. All that is left to do is board up the house during the hurricane and leave the step kids and the tiger trapped inside and let nature take it's course. Will Kelly take the opportunity herself and leave her oblivious defenseless brother as "shark" bait or will she stay and fight ? As a bonus guys, Kelly is half naked and sweaty during most of the action. Solid 3.5 STARS.

It was an ok thriller. It was a little predictable considering other movies that feature a victim trapped in a house with a ferocious animal, ie Crawl, only this one features a tiger. Felt bad for the heroine; she had to not only battle a hungry tiger, but also take care of her autistic brother. I recommend this movie if you want an easy thriller.

Exciting to watch, I would rent it! It's thrilling even though it's a simple plot---tiger loose in the house, girl and autistic brother fight to get out alive.

A+ for effort! Not an awesome written movie but good late night flick! Probably low budget but doesn't wreak of low budget. I watch way too many movies so im overcritical at time but id definitely watch this again! Briana Evigan really caught my attention in this movie. not recognizing her before this I definitely will now! Beautiful woman with a great acting sense. Very believable here! Definitely worth watching! I actually saw Meat loaf and decided to watch because of him.I know right? Such a small roll he had and no accreditation, I wonder why?

I did not expect this movie to be very good, and it really surprised me in a very good way. Glad that there as a real tiger (not cgi) in this movie makes it more visceral. The tiger as smart and the action sequence made sense. The part where the girl used the revolver and fired a blank shot is a very typical rookie mistake and the small caliber could not kill a tire also made it real. Great job to everyone involved in this film.
