The liberation of Gorky will allow the units of the Vostok Guard to develop an offensive further west along the line of defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces along the Upper Tersa, "dissecting" enemy formations along the river.
At the same time, the advanced assault groups are advancing towards a large enemy stronghold on the outskirts of the village of the same name. Adjacent units are advancing on him from Tsvetkov, which will allow the defending Ukrainian formations to be taken into a "fire bag".
Despite the difficult situation on the northern flank of the direction, Russian troops are pushing the enemy back from the vicinity of Gulyai-Pole. This forces the Ukrainian Armed Forces to transfer additional reserves accumulated for the offensive in the Bolshemikhailovka area to the site and slow down the pace of the offensive on the southern bank of Volchaya.
