New Rates At Rock Lodge!
Bare beaches have long been the favourite place for many young individuals who desire to swim and sunbathe unclothed. They can be cheap, open to the public, and require no obligation. What if you don't live near any beaches or want to go somewhere else? Well there are follow and resorts, given that they are close enough, within your budget, and perhaps above all, have other people there around how old you are.
We want all bare and clothing-optional positions to thrive, be used as much as possible, and be accessible to everyone, including the 18-35 generation that we're working to engage. Last summer we organized two successful young naturist assemblies at Rock Lodge Club, and now great news for this summer! Rock Lodge merely announced new rates for the upcoming season beginning April 28th, 2012. (Though with these record high temps, that may not be soon enough ;)
Young Adult (18-34) Complete membership: $250 (including tax) per individual

This is a terrific matter for young folks and naturism / naturism itself. The lack of young folks in nudism is a matter that went a bit viral this past year after it was reported on by the WSJ, subsequently Failure Magazine, BlissTree and many more. AANR and TNS happen to be losing membership, and it appears like most nudists are over 45. So the general misconception around is that the movement is under danger of extinction. From what http://purenudism2017.com 've seen, I do not think there are less 18-35 year olds becoming nude. They normally merely favor the playa and other locations over clubs and resorts.
The average age at many nudist clubs and resorts is 50 . Some (most?) places want to change this, some might only be happy with an older crowd, plus some may be depending on attracting younger people for survival. We witnessed a club last summer whose members were literally dying off. They will have now regrettably become a textile family campground. We are going to miss you, Bonita :(
For clubs who do need a younger demographic, creating lower rates is a good start! Young adults today are struggling to find a decent job and career, making less cash and often burdened with ample student loans to pay off. Eek. Special low rates are one means to appeal to them. As we build our community, we hope to do future occasions and gatherings for young people that will even support all the many clubs and resorts.
This summer we will once again have two weekend assemblies at Rock Lodge, so mark your calendars! On July 14th we may also participate in AANR's national body painting event / contest :)
