Bret Michaels was looking for someone to rock his world on Rock of Love, but what happened to the cast of season one after they were sent home?
Season 1 of VH1's reality TV show Rock of Love aired all the way back in the summer of 2007 during the height of VH1's era of "Celebreality" branding. The Bachelor -style dating contest followed 25 women as they all competed to win the heart of Poison frontman Bret Michaels. Like the VH1 celebrity dating shows before it, the show included surprise eliminations, physical challenges, and a whole lot of drama.
Despite being on the show for one season, several contestants achieved a level of notoriety that viewers remember to this day, and some used the show as a launching pad for their careers. Like the first four women eliminated, others have let their 15 minutes of fame pass and have moved on to live outside the spotlight.
Jes Rickleff entered the Rock of Love house as a 23-year-old hairstylist and left as Brett Michael's girlfriend. Rickleff fought with Lacey Conner (now Sculls) and was pushed into a pool. Rickleff was an early front-runner on the Flavor of Love -style show and had a strong connection with Michaels. The relationship ended when Rickleff broke it off with Michaels during the reunion show. Since then, Rickleff has disappeared from the public eye. She has no confirmed social media presence and has not done any interviews or publicity regarding the show.
Heather Chadwell was known for her big '80s rockstar hair and getting Bret Michaels's name tattooed on her neck. She was deemed one of the most intimidating women in the house and would do anything to stay in front of the competition.
After Rock of Love , Chadwell stayed on reality television, appearing on the VH1 competition show I Love Money and Charm School . Chadwell has settled in Southern California as a luxury realtor. Her Instagram, @heather_chadwell , shows the properties she is currently selling. Caldwell also does some modeling and life coaching.
Lacey Conner was the villain of Rock of Love season 1. Conner was one of the more combative personalities on the show but still connected with Michaels. After finishing third on the show, Sculls went on to have a successful music career and now hosts the Talk of Love podcast, where she interviews other contestants of reality dating shows that people have forgotten about . Sculls looks back on her time on the show in a positive light. Sculls is married and runs her own streaming service. She has continued her love of animals by opening an animal rescue.
Samantha instantly connected with Bret Michaels on the show over their love of music and tattoos. Weisburg was one of the more introverted girls on the show and kept herself secluded from the other girls who liked to party in the house. Samantha struggled with the reality of the lives of musicians , and it put a wedge between her and Bret. According to her Instagram , since leaving the show, Weisburg has become an English teacher and writer. She uses her platform to share her poetry and encourage social change. She has largely stayed out of the public eye since her time in Rock of Love .
Mia Tidwell was one of the "good girls" on the show. She often excluded herself from the wild parties the other women started in the house. Mia was kept on the show despite her more reserved approach to the competition until episode 7. Tidwell has distanced herself from her Rock of Love days but has extended her 15 minutes of fame. According to her Instagram , Tidwell is the current host of HGTV's Hot Properties: San Diego. She enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her niece.
Erin Shattuck was an instant target for the other women in the house after revealing she was engaged before the show. Erin was attacked for her looks on the show and fought with Brandi C. during the beginning of the season. Shattuck has no social media presence other than an old MySpace account showing her pregnancy. She appears on Relator.com as a real estate agent , but little else is known about where Erin is now.
Brandi C. came into the house to win the heart of Bret Michaels and she would do anything to her his attention, and cemented herself a notorious villain on the show . Brandi wasn't afraid to insert herself into conversations with Bret and get her alone time with him. Cunningham kept herself on reality television with appearances on I Love Money , Charm School , and Megan Wants A Millionaire .
Her Instagram is mostly selfies and a personal look into her life now. She hasn't appeared on television recently.
Rodeo was a strong front-runner to win the whole competition from the first episode. She and Bret connected over their children and their struggles with health. Since her time on the show Rodeo has gone on to marry. According to her Instagram , she has several businesses including a motor condo company, an interior design firm, and works as a realtor. Rodeo hasn't given up her cowgirl style and still wears her signature cowgirl hat.
Dallas Harrison wasn't afraid to instigate other contestants into a fight. She had an infamous fight with Lacey, where she dressed in every animal print and product she could find to make fun of Lacey's veganism. Dallas didn't get much screen time outside of fighting with the other girls. According to her Instagram she sells vintage clothes, and uses her social media to inspire social change. She has not done anymore work on television.
Kirstia was one half of the Barbie Twins in the house. She was a part of the "bad girl" group and became friends with Brandi Cunningham. Kirstia was one of the girls who didn't connect with Bret quickly and were sent home early in the competition. After the show she has gone on to marry and has ditched her rocker girl look. According to her Instagram she works as a model and as a wedding filmographer and photographer.

Rock of Love with Bret Michaels is a competition-driven reality television series starring Bret Michaels , the lead singer of the band Poison . The 12-episode series, which premiered July 15, 2007 on VH1 (a VSPOT online premiere showcased on July 10), was created by Cris Abrego and Mark Cronin (co-founders of the production company 51 Minds).

Filmed at locations in and around Los Angeles , Las Vegas and Cabo San Lucas , Mexico , each episode covers events of one or two days and ends in the elimination of one or more contestants. Although not a direct spin-off, Rock of Love with Bret Michaels clearly takes its name and inspiration from Flavor of Love starring 80's rap star Flavor Flav .

Rock of Love's storyline revolves around twenty women and the conflict that arises as they compete against each other to prove that they have the potential to be Michael’s perfect "Rock Star Girlfriend." Michaels and the contestants stay in the same house used for the Los Angeles location of the American television reality show America's Next Top Model cycle 5 . The contestants participate in various physical and social challenges that are occasionally judged by industry greats such as Don Was and Richard Blade .

First aired July 15, 2007 (1.6M viewers) [9]

Bret Michaels shows up on a motorcycle and welcomes the 25 female competitors. He then introduces Big John, his head of security. After Bret leaves Big John eliminates Pam, Kimberly, Meredith, Kelly, and Tiffany. He then invites the rest of the girls inside.

Meanwhile, inside the house the women are enjoying themselves and two of the blondes , Brandi C. and Kristia, decide to be the "Barbie Twins". While the girls are enjoying their cocktails, Tiffany comes pounding on the door begging Big John to let her in. He finally lets her through to the party. Bret then takes pictures of the women, and some girls go over the top. Tiffany, for one, is a drunken mess and her pictures look like mug shots, and a 32-year-old stripper, Heather, shows her boobs. Bret tries to meet as many women as possible. He pays little attention to Brandi C., to her chagrin, until she appears in her friend's bathing suit. Tiffany, who appears drunk, gets into a fight with some of the other women.

During elimination, Bret selects the women who may stay in the house by giving them a backstage pass personalized with their photo. Bret gives his first pass to Rodeo, followed by Heather, Jes, Sam, Brandi M., Magdalena, Faith, Tamara, Mia, Erin, Dallas, Tawny, Lacey, and Kristia. Brandi C. finally receives her pass and Bret also allows Tiffany to stay. Jessica, Bonnie, Lauren, Krista, and Raven are eliminated.

Another party starts at the house. Erin mentions that she had a boyfriend and was supposed to get married this year. Some women begin an impromptu musical jam and then a live music stripper show. Lacey pulls Jes into the pool, which infuriates Jes. Lacey argues with Dallas about the treatment and rights of animals.

The women participate in a phone sex competition. Bret is hooked up to a penile plethysmograph , a device that measures the blood flow to the penis. Rodeo, Erin, and Lacey rate the best results and win a date with Bret. Faith, Tiffany, and Tamara rate the worst results. The date is a trip to Jim Henson Studios , where the women record parts to complete a song Bret is recording with producer Don Was . Erin seems to connect the most with Bret using her sexual moans to seduce him.

Back at the house Brandi C. argues with Erin. Erin comments on Brandi C.'s "meth-scratched face," which Brandi C. says is actually the result of a car accident. Brandi C. complains to Bret about the incident.

Heather tells Bret that Erin is engaged and is supposed to be married soon. Erin explains to Bret that she WAS engaged. Erin and Heather then argue in front of Bret, pis
