Bracket Forge respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Bracket Forge application.
Bracket Forge is an offline tournament management application designed for organizing single-elimination, double-elimination, round-robin, combined group-and-playoff, and Swiss-system tournaments.
The application is designed to work locally on your device without requiring an account or online connection.

- Wins, losses, and draws
- Tournament points

This information is entered voluntarily by the user and is used only to provide tournament-management functionality.
Tournament and participant information is stored locally on the device and is not transmitted to the developer.
Users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive or confidential personal information into participant names or tournament notes.
Tournament Formats
Bracket Forge supports several tournament structures, including single elimination, double elimination, round robin, Swiss-system tournaments, and combined group-stage and playoff formats.
The application processes tournament information locally to create pairings, calculate standings, determine qualifiers, manage byes, and advance participants through tournament stages.
Standings and Tiebreakers
For group and round-robin competitions, Bracket Forge may calculate standings using entered match results.
These calculations may include wins, losses, draws, points, rankings, and applicable tiebreak metrics.
When a match result is changed, the application may automatically recalculate affected standings and qualification positions.
All calculations are performed locally on the device.
Elimination Brackets
For elimination tournaments, Bracket Forge may use participant seeds, match results, winners, losers, and byes to determine bracket progression.
In double-elimination tournaments, the application may maintain both winners' and losers' brackets until the competition reaches its final stage.
Bracket calculations are performed locally and are not sent to an external tournament service.
Swiss-System Tournaments
For Swiss-system events, Bracket Forge may process competitors' current scores, previous opponents, round history, and tiebreak values to create future pairings.
The application may attempt to pair competitors with similar records while avoiding repeat pairings where possible.
Swiss pairing logic runs locally on the user's device.
Local Storage
Bracket Forge may store tournament information in local application storage so tournaments can be closed and continued later.
Locally stored information may include tournament settings, participant lists, results, standings, brackets, pairings, and completed-event history.
This data remains on the device and is not uploaded to a Bracket Forge server.
Internet Connection
Bracket Forge is designed to operate offline.
Core features do not require an internet connection, online account, cloud synchronization, or remote tournament server.
Device Permissions
Bracket Forge does not require access to sensitive device features such as contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, messages, call history, or personal media files for its core functionality.
Advertising
Bracket Forge does not display third-party advertisements and does not use advertising identifiers.
Analytics and Tracking
Bracket Forge does not use behavioral tracking, cross-app tracking, advertising profiling, or analytics services that collect personal information.
Third-Party Sharing
Bracket Forge does not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information or locally stored tournament information with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
Children's Privacy
Bracket Forge does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users.
Because no account or personal-data collection system is used, the same privacy approach applies to all users.
Data Removal
Bracket Forge does not maintain an online account or remote database containing your tournament information.
Locally stored data can generally be removed by deleting tournaments inside the application, clearing the application's storage, or uninstalling Bracket Forge.
Uninstalling the application may permanently remove locally saved tournaments unless your device has separately backed up the application data.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if future versions of Bracket Forge introduce new features or change how information is handled.
Any updated version of this Privacy Policy will be made available on this page.
