7. The Simpsons Movie
Everyone loves a good penis-cover-up-shot. A mainstay of comedy, few films are actually able to give it a massive payoff if youre hiding the penis, odds are youre doing it for a reason. The Simpsons Movie promised to bring a dying series back to the top of its game. Its debatable to what level it accomplished that, but one thing it did succeed at was in providing something shockingly new for the tired audience. With Barts naked skateboarding sequence, what could have been crass and tasteless ended up being rather funny thanks to all manner of penis cover ups; from Frisbees to fingers. Then wham; a crudely drawn yellow wang on screen. Its only a couple of seconds, but enough to show The Simpsons was going to work hard to win its audience back. The film still managed to seal a PG rating, showing how cartoon nudity is hardly viewed as nudity at all (but it still places here).
