An interplanetary mission goes awry in this story by the author of the Moreau Society series.

Given a mission to a planet called Cancer? Pilson Houwan prides himself on being a tough negotiator for his employers, Silcox Industries. But Cancer? A world untouched by the progress of the past ten thousand years.

A primitive planet with a barely functioning civilization. No portal technology, matter-energy conversion, or any real bio-engineering. Yet it did possess rare minerals prized by his employers—and their competitors. A chance at great success, or an even worse failure.

Ryan M. Williams’ Bout on Cancer, is part of the Super Great Challenge (SGC), one story written each week for a year from this imaginative author. Each story an unique experience that can be read in a single entertaining sitting.
