Device has not been encrypted yet

If you wish to encrypt your phone, you'll need to Format Data from TWRP and reboot for the device to be crypted.

else if you want your phone to stay unencrypted, Flash fcrypt-disabler.zip after flashing the ROM and reboot.

• Scene 2

Device has been crypted by MIUI or any other ROM that supports wrapped key encryption

Flash normally and you should be fine. But be sure not to flash a ROM that has a lower security patch level as that will make decryption fail in TWRP
