We are proud to present Books_base 3.0 — the biggest update of our e-book store!!

This update brings many changes and improvements designed to make your experience with our Telegram bot even more convenient, faster, and efficient. Here are the main innovations you’ll find in this update:

In this update, we’ve put special focus on improving the search function. It’s now faster, more accurate, and more user-friendly.

The bot is always in search mode unless you need to enter a specific message or command. This means you no longer need to use commands to start a search — simply enter the book title, and the bot will immediately display relevant results.

If you know the book’s article number, just enter it, and the bot will instantly grant you access to the book. The article number can be found under each book post in our official Telegram channel.

Pagination buttons (⬅️/➡️) have been added for easy navigation between results, allowing you to quickly move between search pages. To access the desired content, simply press its number.

Searching by authors and genres has also become significantly more convenient. Enter the author’s name, and the bot will display all available results. Select an author from the list to see all their books.

Similarly, genre search allows you to browse available genres, after selecting which, you’ll be shown a list of all books in that genre. You can also enter the genre name manually for the bot to display relevant results.

The search is fully interactive: you can click on book titles, authors, genres, or article numbers to quickly copy the necessary information and use it later.

🗃️ My Books

We’ve added a new command, /my_books, which opens access to your personal library with all the books you’ve purchased. Now you can instantly see the full list of your bought books, which are available for reading at any time.

This feature is especially useful if you want to quickly return to your recent purchases without needing to search for books by title or purchase date. All books are organized into a convenient list, which you can easily scroll through.

Pagination buttons (⬅️/➡️) are provided for easy navigation between pages of your library. Once you find the book you need, press the «Read» button to instantly access all available formats of that book for reading.

Note: The /my_books command is unavailable for users with Premium status, as they have full access to the entire Books_base library without any restrictions.

⚙️ Language Settings

With the new /settings command, you can easily change the bot interface language. Currently, three languages are available: Russian, English, and Ukrainian.

For new users, the bot automatically selects the interface language based on the language settings in the Telegram app. If the bot does not support the selected language, Russian will be chosen by default.

For existing users, the bot will continue to use Russian as the default language, but you can always change it in the settings.

Note: Changing the language only affects interaction with the bot. Authors, genres, book titles, and descriptions, as well as the content of the books themselves, will remain in Russian to preserve the original style and intent of the authors. Consequently, book, author, and genre searches are also conducted in Russian, regardless of the selected interface language.

⭐️ New Payment Method

We’ve added a new and convenient payment method — Telegram stars currency. Now, if you have Telegram stars, you can use them to purchase books in our store.

The payment process is simple: after clicking the «Buy» button and successfully completing the payment through Telegram stars, the bot will automatically send you the book files. No additional actions are required — it’s a quick and convenient way for those who actively use this currency.

Note: The price of books in Telegram stars is not displayed in advance, as the price depends on the exchange rate and may vary. To find out the exact cost, just click the «Buy» button, and a payment window with the current price will open.

📰 News Section

Now, with the /news command, you can quickly get the latest updates and news from our store. By sending this command, you’ll receive the most recent news with a direct link to the full article in telegra.ph format.

For ease of reading and navigating between news articles, pagination buttons (⬅️/➡️) are available, allowing you to browse through previous and next articles.

This section will help you stay informed about new promotions, functionality changes, and other important events in our store.

News articles are displayed in the language set in your bot settings. All news is also duplicated in the official Books_base Telegram channels for different languages:

🛒 Instant Book Purchase

Now, in our official Telegram channel where new book announcements are published, there’s a convenient «Buy» button under each post. This feature significantly speeds up the purchase process, making it even simpler and more accessible.

By clicking the «Buy» button, you’ll automatically be redirected to the bot chat, which will immediately send you the selected book for preview and payment. You no longer need to manually search for the book by title or article number — everything happens in just a few clicks.

This process is incredibly convenient, especially for those who don’t want to spend time searching. Purchasing becomes quick and comfortable, and access to your favorite books — even more instant.

💬 Improved Tech Support

We’ve made our technical support even more efficient and user-friendly.

Now, when contacting tech support (via the /support command), you can attach up to 10 photos and videos in one message to visually show the problem you’re facing. This will help us understand the situation faster and offer the most accurate solution.

Our support team is always ready to respond quickly to your questions and offer assistance at any time!!

🥱 Minor Changes

🔒 Privacy Policy

In light of Telegram’s new policy, every bot developer is now required to provide users with their privacy policy.

We’ve added the ability to review our policy so you can be assured of the reliable protection of your data. To do this, send the /privacy command to the bot, or find more detailed information in our separate article.

♻️ Command Renaming

The /booking command for ordering books has been renamed to /order, while retaining its original functionality.

💳 Changes in Payment Methods

The “quick” payment method via WebApps in the Telegram bot has been removed due to its unpopularity and issues with page display, which could confuse customers. We always strive to provide the best purchasing experience.

🐞 Minor Bug Fixes

We’ve improved the bot’s performance by fixing several technical issues, including rare cases where commands wouldn’t work while other tasks were running, as well as issues with request processing delays. The bot now functions more stably and faster.
