“The App”: The BookWyrm application
“Microsoft Store Insights”: 3rd party service from Microsoft that stores the data collected from the user.
“OS”: Short for Operating System. The software that supports a computer's basic functions, such as scheduling tasks, executing applications, and controlling peripherals
“User”: an individual who uses the Services or accesses the Sites.
Information Collected
The information collection is done with Microsoft Store Insights to monitor real-world usage with crash and analytics data.
- Number of sessions the the BookWyrm App was launched
- Duration of the use of the BookWyrm App
- OS version of the machine that runs the App
- Crash Diagnostic report: Microsoft Store Insights Crashes records the state of the app and device and automatically generates a crash log to prevent future crashes
How information is Collected
Information is collected with Microsoft Store Insights which is a 3rd party for tracking. Upon launching the BookWyrm app when connected to the internet, the app informs the 3rd party about the OS that launches the app. Information is also sent upon closing and crashing of the BookWyrm app.

- Measure how many users use the BookWyrm app
