Bobbi Kristina was 18 years old when Whitney Houston was found dead in a Beverly Hills Hotel. Shocked by the news, Bobbi Kristina was admitted to the Cedar Sinai Medical Center for stress and anxiety.
Family, friends and even fans of the great singer worried how Bobbi Kristina would cope after the untimely death of her mother. A llegations that Bobbi Kristina had turned to illegal substances and alcohol to deal with the death of Whitney began to surface. “I worry about her in the sense that she lost her mom,” said her aunt Pat in an interview with essence.com . “There’s no privacy for her…I have to be there for her because I know that’s what her mother would want me to do.”
Determined to dispell rumors and speculation about her behavior and emotional state, the Houston family debuted a reality show called ‘The Houstons: On Our Own’. In the show, the world got to see firsthand Bobbi Kristina’s relationship with her family and also revealed what appeared to be an escalating drinking problem for the then-18-year-old.
In 2012 fans were surprised to learn of Bobbi Kristina’s relationship with her close friend Nick Gordon, who until then was believed to have been like an “adopted brother.” Eight months after the passing of Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina announced her engagement to Gordon on her reality TV show, The Houstons: On Our Own . After vehemently denying rumors that Gordon was her adopted brother, Bobbi Kristina opened up publicly about their relationship and in early 2014 the duo were believed to have secretly married. The announcement caused quite a riff between Bobbi Kristina and her aunt Pat, who filed a restraining order against Gordon in April. After Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive her family announced that she and Gordon were never legally married.
The couple moved to Atlanta where trouble seemed to follow. In 2013, the two were evicted from their apartment after receiving several noise compliants for neighbors. And an unfortunate series of car accidents had family and friends concerned about the stability of Bobbi Kristina’s new life.
In July 2014, a picture was posted to her Instagram account showing Bobbi Kristina using illicit drugs. Although admitting to using drugs in the past, she denied that it was ongoing. However, Bobbi Kristina’s appearance concerned family and friends, who took note of her extreme weight loss. Bobbi attributed her weight loss to a fast metabolism, but skeptics believed an ongoing battle with substances was to blame.
On Saturday, January 31, 2015, 21-year-old Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in the bathtub of her Georgia home. She was rushed to the hospital where she was put in a medically induced coma and never fully regained conciousness. She was later moved to a longterm care facilty but died on July 26, 2015. The tragic death of Bobbi Kristina is all too familiar for fans of late singer Whitney Houston who also experienced an untimely death. We remember Bobbi Kristina Brown, who is survived by her father Bobby Brown, aunt Pat Houston and grandmother Cissy Houston.

The family were on “high alert” over people trying to sneak pictures, but it seems one got through
A photo of Bobbi Kristina Brown lying in her casket, days after she passed away, has been leaked, according to reports.
The sick picture comes as her family were said to be “on high alert” over the possibility, after a photo of her mother Whitney Houston was sold to a newspaper following her death.
According to TMZ, the photo was taken the day before the 22-year-old's funeral, and has already been sold to a media outlet - with bidding reportedly reaching $100,000.
The Browns were said to be standing watch over Bobby Brown’s daughter to make sure that no photos were taken of her.
However it appears someone slipped through the high security.
Last month, the whole family were left furious and upset when a photo of her in her hospice bed was leaked, with a family member attempting to SELL the sick picture.
Bobby Brown's sister Leolah hit out at the unknown photographer, who she believes must have taken the snap without their knowledge.
Leolah told TMZ: "You aint gon be able to pay people off on this one!"
She was demanding a truth test, according to the site, as she added: "I will make sure that anyone who came anywhere near Bobbi Kriss- including myself take a lie detective test."
Whitney Houston's daughter was moved to a hospice in June after remaining on life support in hospital for the last six months, and died on Sunday.
She was was found face-down in her bath at the end of January, and her father Bobby Brown and close family members kept a bedside vigil before her death.
According to TMZ, an "extended family member" took the photo and was attempting to sell it - with the site turning it down when offered it.
It was reported to show someone hovering over Bobbi as she lays in bed in a horrific invasion of her privacy, and they are thought to be another family member.
It was been shopped to several magazines and websites.
