Thanks to a commenter for the tip, we finally have an update on the child porn case against former gay porn star Blu Kennedy (a.k.a. Benjamin Martin), which was first reported over 16 months ago, in May of 2017. The SF Chronicle reports that Kennedy’s boyfriend, who was arrested with Kennedy for possessing and sharing hundreds of child porn files on computers in their home, has pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography. Via SF Chronicle :
A former University of California, San Francisco psychiatrist pleaded guilty Wednesday to possession of child pornography. Billy Lockhart, 38, was a resident for UCSF’s department of psychiatry when he was arrested in May 2017 at his home. A search warrant was served and investigators found more than 600 videos and pictures of child pornography on various devices belonging to Lockhart.
The graduate of Yale University’s school of medicine was arrested along with his boyfriend Benjamin Martin, 33, at the home they shared. Investigators also found hundreds of files of child pornography on Martin’s devices, police said.
The Chronicle notes that Blu Kennedy (Martin) has not pleaded guilty, so the case against him is ongoing. Lockhart will be sentenced in November:
Martin has not pleaded guilty, according to information available to Simmons Wednesday afternoon. Lockhart’s court sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 7 at 10 a.m.

Former gay porn star Blu Kennedy was arrested in San Francisco yesterday after the SFPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children unit discovered “hundreds” of child porn files on his electronic devices, Str8UpGayPorn can confirm. Kennedy’s roommate—a UCSF psychiatrist named Billy Lockhart, who graduated from Yale—was also arrested for possessing child porn, as well as uploading/sharing it online via UCSF wi-fi.

A 36-year-old UCSF psychiatrist and his roommate were arrested with hundreds of images and videos of child pornography, officials said Thursday.
Billy Lockhart, a resident at UCSF’s Department of Psychology and graduate of Yale University’s School of Medicine, was arrested on Tuesday at his home near the hospital on 100 block of Buena Vista Terrace, police said.
The San Francisco Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit started looking at Lockhart in March after investigators determined he was uploading and trading child pornography on the Internet, officials said. Lockhart was using the UCSF Wi-Fi to upload child pornography, police said.
On Tuesday, police said they served a search warrant at Lockhart’s home, where they found several of his electronic devices containing hundreds of videos and pictures of child porn.
Lockhart and Martin were arrested at the home. Each suspect was booked on suspicion of possession of more than 600 files of child pornography, and Lockhart was additionally booked on suspicion of distribution of child pornography.
