Lets take a moment to honour the actual artist then the actual show the song showed up in….
the comment section got retarded thanks to rick and morty
i personally believe that this is a song about someone who is deeply depressed and is trying to make someone who tries to cope with depression by, as she believes it, is lying to herself, think like her, judging by the “don’t be a fool, make it easier” part.
As a counter to all the cartoon posting:
Most of this album was written by Kazu following a horse-riding incident. Various themes such as having to have her mouth wired shut seem to be in this song. I seem to remember her mentioning being unable to support a friend who was having a rough time too during this period. As well as coming to terms with not knowing whether you will be permanently disfigured before reconstructive surgery. And the processes and themes of depression and sadness that apply to anyone forming relationships.
okay all rick and morty comments aside this sONG BOPS. it is emotional and relatable. it conveys the feelings and story vaguely, though it feels so perfect. and the song itself is just well made and i love the sound of it.
Anyone concerning about performing this and follow up by Coda?
