My 7 year old daughter has an enlarged clitoris - I am awaiting for the referral to an endocrinologist. Any ideas as to what causes this and/or treatment. She is very uncomfortable all of the time.

I, on the other hand, think it's quite normal for girls to be blessed with different sized clitorises. Most of the guys I know are not unhappy with a clitoris of any size. I've never heard a guy complain about the size of a girls clitoris but I have heard some guys mention that a girl had a large one and how much fun it was to play with.

Please don't go for surgery to change it unless it is really a physical problem for her. At least wait until she's old enough to decide for herself what she wants to do.

I have a big clitoris and it was discovered that I have PCOS. And now my 8 year old is getting a referral to an endocrinologist. So that may be an issue you may have to bring up to the doctor. They may not do surgery. They will give you options on what to do
