BlockTV, a crypto-centric media company, is launching its BLTV token via Bittrex Global initial exchange offering model as the community wonders if it is a cash grab move?
BLOCK TV, an Israeli firm that focuses on the dissemination of tech-related news has announced that it will start distributing its special native utility token. The distribution is scheduled to begin in the latter part of November 2019.
BLOCK TV has made known the fact that its brand of tokens will be released this month. These tokens will go by the name of BLTV tokens. Users of these tokens can use them to enhance what they gain from watching the broadcasts of the company.
With the BLTV tokens in hand, viewers will be enabled to unlock exclusive contents and features that they would be otherwise not eligible for. Notably, the tokens can be used to pay for ads running on BLOCK TV and can be used for the purchase of tickets at all BLOCKTV events.

BLOCK TV has chosen to distribute its tokens in a way that is different from the norm. Thus, instead of initiating an initial exchange offering (IEO) or an Initial Coin Offering (ICO), it will list its tokens on Bittrex Global. This is scheduled to take place on November 21, 2019.
BLOCK TV has released a statement in which it reassured viewers that they are not conducting a private sale. Instead, according to them, all the tokens will be made available for sale at an identical price and place.
Apart from purchasing tokens, viewers of the platform will be able to earn tokens by viewing ads. However, tokens earned in this manner will be locked-up for one year.
In its statement, BLOCKTV emphasized that token holders would be able to access exclusive content that is not featured on normal broadcast streams. It also noted that paying via its tokens will grant payees access to special reports, exclusive interviews with a host of influential industry leaders, expert analysis and commentary, insightful debates, incisive market analysis, predictions, and evaluations. Paying via the new token will also mean access to the most exclusive behind-the-scenes footage.
