Blizzard will Unveil the next World of Warcraft Expansion on April 19th

Blizzard is gearing up to reveal the next chapter of the Warcraft franchise across multiple games. wow wiki The studio is currently working on the next World of Warcraft expansion following 2020's Shadowlands and players will get their first glimpse of the game on April 19th.

Activision Blizzard did not say when the expansion would be released, but the timing of the reveal suggests that it will continue to release an expansion every two years. This is despite the challenges in creating games during the pandemic, and the challenges of retaining and hiring staff after lawsuits and misconduct allegations.

Hearthstone players will be able to view the first of three expansions that will be coming in 2022 prior to the WoW reveal. These details will be revealed on March 15th. In the next few days, the Hearthstone team is expected to reveal more details about this year's plans, which include changes to the core set.

Meanwhile, Activision Blizzard recently announced that a Warcraft mobile game that will be released this year. Expect to find out more information about it in May.
