For the past few years, Blake Mitchell has been one of the most popular gay porn stars out there. Now, after four years as an exclusive Helix Studios model – Blake surprised his many fans by announcing he’s “resigning from Helix Studios, in all capacities.”
Blake Mitchell started his adult career when he was only 18-years-old, as a webcam model. With every New Year comes new growth and I’ve sown several seeds this past year that I am anxious to see grow and share with all of you. In order to do this, I need room to grow. I know some of you might have a lot of questions and I regret I won’t be able to answer most of them.”

Last April, many thought Blake would be retiring – or at least scaling back his appearances – when he said in an interview that his future in gay porn is changing –
“Filming takes time, and maintaining your body takes a lot of effort, and takes a lot of mental and emotional bandwidth that I think would be better focused elsewhere.”
At this point, it remains to be seen what – and where – Blake will be moving to next.

Rasmus Müller sits down for some Q&A with Blake Mitchell from Helix Studios.
This month’s cybermodel is 20-year-old Blake Mitchell from Helix Studios . Born and raised in the state of Kentucky, Blake was a construction worker before his porn career got started. His first foray into adult entertainment was live cam modeling, where his fans encouraged him to apply to Helix Studios. Are you single right now? I am very proud to no longer be single! I’m dating the one and only Casey Tanner! He’s actually not anything like I thought he would be – and that’s what I loved the most about him when we met. We first met at the Helix Mansion and it was magical. We had instant chemistry and I remember pushing him against a wall and kissing him just because I had to!
Something about you that fans probably don’t know? I only have one nipple. I shaved the other off when I was 6, because I didn’t know what a razor did.
What are your hobbies? My biggest hobby is learning. I know that sounds nerdy and cliche for the guy with glasses, but it’s true. Learning is so much fun and just opens up so many opportunities – and knowing quirky information has honestly come in handy so many times!
Life lessons you’ve learned during recent years? I’ve learned more since turning 18 than I had learned in all the years before that. But I think the most valuable thing I’ve learned is that hearing others is more important than being heard.

Do you still plan to go to college? I’m not currently in school but when I do go in the future I want to study law.

Your life five years from now? I’d like to still be working at the travel agency where I currently work, but in a higher position.
What other jobs have you tried? I’ve worked at a few restaurants but I always used to do construction and odd jobs. I grew up doing it and always loved it.
Interested in any kind of non-adult performance? I’ve always had the dream of being a Calvin Klein model, but I’m afraid I’m not buff enough!

Where did you grow up and what was it like? I grew up in the horse capitol of the world: Kentucky! It’s such a beautiful part of the country and there’s nowhere else I’d rather take a long drive down a two-lane road.
What did you dream of becoming when you were a kid? Believe it or not, one of my childhood dreams was being a pornstar! But I also wanted to be a teacher, an architect, and a lawyer.
Did you ever do anything as a kid that got you into trouble? Yeah… I did. I was actually quite the rebel in high school and I got involved with a bad crew, but I’m past all that now, I promise!
