Anastasia Berthier, from Moscow, Russia, saw her boobs balloon from an A-B cup to an E-cup during a growth spurt in 2006, resulting in bullying from her peers
A woman claims her KK-cup size breasts which she insists are one hundred percent natural have grown so big that strangers boob-shame her in the street.
Curvy fashion model and artist, Anastasia Berthier, who is in her twenties from Moscow, Russia, would have issues with her weight between the ages of 10 and 11 and was bullied by her peers, who would call her names like ‘fatty’ or ‘little piggy’.
The bullying got worse one summer in 2006 when she had a sudden growth spurt in her breasts from a A-B-cup size to an E-cup.
Her high school peers would pay more attention to her but at the same time there were some who would react rudely about her appearance.
One day a boy at her school even spread a false rumour that she had sex with him, despite the fact that she was a virgin at the time. This increased her anxiety as a child.
Over time her boobs grew even more and as a result she began to receive a lot of unwanted attention from strangers who would point at her in the streets.
Her confidence was knocked for 10 to 12 years until one day in 2017 she was scouted by a couple of photographers who loved her look and thus began her modelling career.
The feeling she got from wearing lingerie during her photoshoots left her with a sense of empowerment and she realised that she didn’t have to look a certain way to be happy.
With collectively over one million followers across two Instagram accounts, she can now show off her 34KK boobs with pride.
“I was born in a family of artists; as a child I spent a lot of time at exhibitions with my grandparents,” Anastasia said.
“By the age of ten to eleven I started gaining weight which caused bullying from my family and school as well.
“They called me fatty, our little piggy etc. That's when I started having complexes regarding my extra weight. That’s when I started dieting in an extreme way.
“I was fighting with myself for as long as I can remember, because society and my family put so much pressure on me about my weight and curves.
“I just couldn't wait to lose weight, so I took forbidden pills and even used drugs just to be a small to medium size.
“I achieved the result for a while and after, I had gained the weight back and even more than before, and most of the time I was unhappy.
“My breasts appeared over one summer. My body had developed very fast by the age of thirteen and fourteen, I already had an E-cup and when I returned to school from summer vacation everyone was amazed.
“From that moment on, my school life changed; I started to get much more attention which I liked but I also had lots of rude comments from other teenagers. They were calling me ‘boob’, which I hated.
“I’m a person, not a body part. But one of my very anxious times as a kid was when a guy started spreading rumours that I had sex with them and created some crazy dirty stories whilst I was still virgin.
“Now as an adult I understand that it’s just their fantasies and it shouldn’t bother me, but at that time it drove me crazy, I was crying, I felt like I was unclean.
“It took me a long time and a lot of internal work on myself to accept my body. It was incredibly challenging for me to step over the complexes and standards of beauty imposed on me.
“In Russia, a lot of things, especially society, strongly suggest that a woman is only beautiful when she has a thin body shape.
“Personally, what helped me was when I realised that I can never become someone else, I can’t change my body shape and turn into a long-legged thin model on a catwalk. But I could be the best version of myself, and be the beautiful woman that I am.
“I realised that many men have different tastes compared to my society and environment, especially the classic Russian idea of beauty but for millions of people, I am a desirable and perfect woman.”
Anastasia admits that when she first started modelling, it helped boost her confidence and made her feel strong as a woman.
“When I started modelling and seeing myself in pictures, getting a lot of positive feedback, it really helped me to love myself even more,” she said.
“I am curvy model; mostly I do boudoir, bikini photoshoots and cosplays. Also, I do collaborations with brands.
“On shooting days I make sure to have a good night’s sleep so that I can wake up early to prepare my outfits then I would head to the studio a couple of hours before the shoot for make-up artists and outfit sets for each session.
“I am truly addicted to beautiful lingerie. I am very happy that there are now brands that produce beautiful and sexy lingerie for girls with large breasts. What could be sexier than black or burgundy lace and silk?
“Be yourself! Love yourself! You should look the way you want to look, not the way people want you to look, anywhere you go there will be people who will not like you. Do not starve yourself but eat healthy. Stay active. Go with your guts and you will be happy.”
