Do gay people really complain about being treated worse than dogs today? The statement may be hyperbole but this is a Twitter post from a member of the perpetually offended so it could just as well be intended to be taken literally.
"Ostracization" may mean something different to a gay person and the "misgendering is violence" crowd.
It’s pretty much just the -T part that is doing that and why so many gay people want to distance themselves from them. Straight, Lesbian, Gay, Bi- all are a sexual orientation. T is not, and to many people, it doesn’t really belong in that group.
If they do, it's ridiculous. I came out in 1992. I've seen a lot of change. It's all been positive. Nothing at all has gotten worse though I'm expecting a bit of a backlash over identity politics.
I should say I had no problems that I couldn't deal with by getting in someone's face, and that was rare. These days I'm told "you'd never know". People do know but don't care because I don't fly rainbow flags, dye my hair purple and scream at people about it. I get more shit these days for not buying into anything PC.
Being regular gay is a privileged class in the year of our lord 2021.

The LGBT community hates gay men, lesbian women, and bisexuals.
It’s so heart breaking to me that so many younger lesbians absolutely hate any lesbian that doesn’t agree with the trans ideology. All the difference a couple of years has made with the trans indoctrination hitting them so hard. They don’t see what’s happening around them, what’s being taken from them and they follow so blindly thinking it’s the right thing.
That’s what happens when you let the “T” take over every single space and give them a “cannot be called on their shit” free pass when they start whining and bullying anyone and everyone to get their way
Today i stopped following r/TwoXChromosomes because it turned into a trans subreddit. And the worst part is that only happened so some people could feel morally superior. We are living in a clown world.
Why are Trans issues grouped in with LGB? It isn't a sexual preference as far I was aware of?
This is the point. Trans were linked for many years, though I don't know specifically why. The bigger issue is that it's all about them these days. If that's the route they want to take then they can have their own movement.
Because trans people on their own are an extreme minority, whereas if they clump in with LGB (I think 1 in 5 people are gay) they suddenly seem like a much bigger part of the crowd and they also are under a real platform that gives their movement more power. So really even though trans activists (just the activists, there are normal trans people but they're the minority of trans people) are almost entirely authoritarian dickheads that believe things antithetic to gay people, they clump themselves in so they have more of an impact on society. It's a real shame, LGB don't deserve to be associated with them.
