This movie was filmed in and around Parry Lodge in Kanab, Utah. This lodge was opened in the early 1930s by the Parry brothers, as a place in which to lodge Hollywood film crews who came out to that area of Utah to film some of the early westerns. Over the years many famous movie stars have stayed at this lodge.
Felton says he's still on eastern time, 3 hours ahead. Utah is in mountain time, just 2 hours behind eastern.

I found the location more interesting than the mystery.
"The Girl in Black Stockings" is an unusual murder mystery, mostly because of where it was filmed. The Parry Lodge (which is still operating) in Kanab, Utah, hosted this movie shoot. It's not far from Zion National Park and is a lovely part of the country. Too bad you didn't get to see more of the countryside in this film. The story begins with the body of a woman found at the resort. She'd been stabbed repeatedly and the filmmakers were not timid about applying blood to the 'corpse' in this scene. Because the policeman investigating (John Dehner) assumes a guest of the hotel did it, he orders everyone to stay there. And, soon, bodies start piling up! The identity of the killer is, of course, revealed at the end and it's a bit of a surprise. Aside from the locale, I never found this film all that exciting. Now I am not saying it's bad in any way, but more of a time-passer. And, by the way, on the poster currently on IMDB, you see mostly Mamie Van Doren on it...but she's not a major character in the film. I think they were just trying to capitalize on her...um....assets.

so i had to wear them around my knees. I did shoot them in church pew and I never wore them again, as i had to hobble
to do it. They are for sale soon on ebay or i just give them away.
See I told you , i shot them in church pew. had my camera and i crossed my legs, the skirt rode up...and i was looking and admiring them. they are bridal with satin pussy cat bows.
Anyhow, no one saw me, all looking ahead, and there was no flash.
My new camera... and it's so hard to get the seams, and im not sure...if i could. But feet and back of legs is hard to do.

Not going to say anything about world politics, normativity of flying to conferences and eating meat, just on a personal level things continuously evolve. For a "girl" growing up with a growing up family at home, the situation is now really different than 11 years ago when I started to explore what it is to expose Barbara on Flickr.
recently, with teenagers around the house whose school schedules appear totally unpredictable, staying home for a day to dress is becoming a risky adventure and I tend to limit myself to a few dates on evenings I can cover up my staying out late, while business trips offer other opportunities.
I am looking forward to some next business trips where a dress can be packed (these days, flying around Europe without check-in luggage doesn't allow bringing too many dresses and heels, so here comes the train traveler ;))
anyway, today is another day of looking back. this was my last business trip, and I still have a few more pics I might share.
