I treated myself to purchasing this for my birthday. It was a blind buy and I had no idea how it would smell, but I was tired of wearing my usual floral perfume. It arrived beautifully packaged in the original box and arrived a day early. The first spray was just a tiny one and I was in love. Very different and the silage is long. I loathe a fragrance that has no staying power. If you're into your perfume bottle esthetic, you'll be delighted with the usual Guerlain silhouette all in black. I'll be purchasing again.
Sweet, deep, soft and slightly powdery. There’s notes of fruit, cherry, almond, spice and wood. It’s comparable to Clinique’s Aromatics Elixir, but not as spicy. Perfect stand-ins are Kenzo Jungle Elephant or Tom Fords Velvet Orchid. The dry down reminds me of Johnson & Johnson’s (pink) baby lotion. I’m in love!

Soft Rosy baby powder. That's what it smells like. Medium lasting. Def. Not a super dark black scent. Good quality tho. I have to spray very heavy to make it last all day like twenty sprays.
Deep, rich with unique woodsy/pepper base notes and sweet, almond/cherry top notes. I admit the initial spray is a bit overwhelming for me, as I'm more a fan of a musky-earthy scents, but the top sweetness settles quickly into a light richness that lingers subtly on the skin. A good daytime fragrance for someone who appreciates a finely crafted French scent.
I prefer this over the original La Petit Robe Noir because it's much softer and cozier. The bottle is really pretty, and I'm considering getting a smaller size to carry with me. One of my favourite scents.

Glad to see you back and posting! I've missed you! :) I want to love LPRN, I really do, but something in the series is just off-putting. I'm guessing it's something in the base that throws things off on my skin - it goes entirely screechy and sharp, in addition to too syrupy. But, I've other Guerlain perfumes to love (Jicky, Coriolan and Philtre d'Amour). I do wish they would bring back Philtre d'Amour - I would give my right arm for a bottle of that juice.
