Black Hole Expansion is a Story Quest in Phantasy Star Online 2 . It's part of Episode 5, Chapter 6: Thus Did the Heroes Assemble.

Major Characters Appearing : Xiao , Matoi , Alma , Xiera , and ???

Alma : Sorry about that. Wait now... are you okay?
Matoi : You look... horrible. Did something happen?

( the protagonist is given two options to say: "It's a long story." or "Why did you call us back?" but both give the same response)

Xiao : Fair enough. The two are likely related, so let me start by explaining what's going on here.
Xiao: The black hole suddenly expanded to a gigantic size. And not from absorbing outside material. It's expanding from within.
Xiao: This is what it looks like from afar.

(an image of the black hole is shown, making pulsing sounds)

Xiera : What's that pulsating sound?
Alma: Sound... doesn't travel in space. So uh, yeah, that's weird.
Xiao: It's beating like a heart, and getting bigger by the moment.
Alma: Hey, you two.
Alma: I wonder - would you mind explaining what happened on Omega?
Xiera: ...Okay.

Xiao: Omega itself... IS the Profound Darkness.
Alma: So the Profound Darkness isn't attached to Omega...
Alma: It's more like Omega is attached to the Profound Darkness's back.
Matoi: It's weird, though. What happened to that guy who was supposed to be the Profound Darkness's true form?
Alma: Elmir says he's [Persona]. I guess he could be lying, but I don't see why he would do that.
Xiao: We can't afford to take an optimistic read of the situation.
Xiao: We should operate on the assumption that the [Persona] we knew no longer exists, and that Elmir is now [Persona].
Xiao: If this is all being caused by Elmir and his cocoon, we have to do something to stop it.
Xiera: So basically, we have to destroy it. How are we gonna do that?
Xiera: And if we do, Hariette is inside... What will happen to her?

(the protagonist closes their eyes and hear Persona's voice)

Persona : Giving up already? Pathetic.

(the protagonist is given two options to say: "Let's move." or "We're not out of options." but both give the same response)

Matoi: But... No, you're right! You're absolutely right!
Alma: Even if we don't understand what's going on... We have to do something.
Alma: We came all the way to solve issues that we did not understand. I guess we will just keep going and do everything we can.
Xiao: We'll handle things here. I need you two to continue your investigations on Omega.
Xiao: We don't have a lot of time. But you're right, we can still do something about this.

Xiera: Let's head back to Cuento. It's probably a mess there without Hariette.

So, am I crazy or did BW just make our new set HEAVY ARMOR? I could have sworn that when I bought my Pummeler implant the other week, the Pummeler's set was Medium Armor. I went to the vendor last night and the only thing that was available to us was the Foestopper set which has a bunch of endurance on it and seems like it was more like the Vindicator set of 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2. Did they break our Tier 1.3?

Yup, expect to pay a lot of $ to rip out mods to put in your medium armor shells

If you move the mods from ANY NEW GEAR (created in 1.2), the set bonus comes with it.

Yeah, you're right. Some pieces are identical (boots, waist). But for others, the Pummeler Heavy Armor pieces have mods that are better than those in the Foestopper set.
