Beverley Glean MBE is the visionary founder and Artistic Director of IRIE! dance theatre, a choreographer, and an academic pioneer who has championed African and Caribbean dance for over four decades. Norma's Academy of Dance is Metro Atlanta's longest-standing African American founded dance studio. Established in 1972 by the late Norma B. Mitchell, the Academy served as a haven for young African American artists to train and learn a multiplicity of genres in the arts.
