ENGin

Dear ENGin Student,

Our team is so inspired by students’ dedication to their ENGin sessions, even in the midst of power outages and intimidation from the invaders. We appreciate your commitment to growth and self-development! We also continue to work hard to help you have a great ENGin experience. Please read our latest updates and opportunities carefully!

🟣 New ENGin Policies

We have some important new policies to ensure a smooth experience for students and volunteers. These policies apply to all students.

1-Year Program Duration: In order to give all interested students a chance to participate in ENGin, we are instituting a soft 1-year program limit. What does this mean for you? After 1 year with ENGin, you will automatically become an ENGin alumnus. You will continue to receive program emails and have access to our themed Telegram chats, online events, and contests. You can also continue meeting with your volunteer for as long as the volunteer is interested. However, we cannot provide you with a rematch when you stop meeting with your current volunteer.

Rematch Requests: If you would like to be matched to a different volunteer, please do not contact your volunteer about this. First, write to info@enginprogram.com. We need to investigate the situation and decide whether a rematch is allowed before reaching out to the volunteer. As a reminder, legitimate reasons for a rematch are listed here

Inappropriate Behavior: Your ENGin buddy has volunteered to help you practice English. Please do not ask them to find you a job, to help with immigration, or to send you or your family money. These requests make volunteers uncomfortable — and make it harder for us to recruit new volunteers for the program. Thank you for understanding!
