Biweekly digest

Dear ENGin student,

ENGin received a lot of exciting exposure over the last two weeks: our program was featured in the Ukrainian magazine Forbes and the US media outlet The Washington Post. In addition, ENGin’s founder, Katerina Manoff, was invited to share our story of hope on US TV channel WUSA9. You can also find advertisements about ENGin in seven large malls throughout Kyiv. This type of publicity was unimaginable for ENGin in the past!

Let's discover more updates:

🟣A Simple Way to Help Our Program - Please Send Us Your ENGin Story!

We're preparing to launch our 2023 fundraising campaign, Imagine with ENGin, to ensure ENGin can stay open and help many more thousands of Ukrainians.

Please help us show donors the magic of ENGin! If you have a unique ENGin story, please send it to us. You can write in Ukrainian or English, and we also love photos or videos!

Our favorite stories include:

* Specific examples of how ENGin has helped you at work, in school, and in life.

* Concrete details about your sessions - describe your most memorable session, unexpected similarities with your buddy, or something fascinating you've learned.

* Dedicated volunteers: Has your volunteer done something really special for you? Tell us about it!

🟣Online Communities

Great news for you! ENGin is starting a brand new Pronunciation Community. Pronunciation Community Moderator, Claire Schneider, holds an international TESOL certificate and degrees in Multiculturalism and Human Services. Activities include weekly live sessions with the moderator using the Color Vowel Chart, videos, chants, games, and other activities to highlight the importance of stress, thought groups, linking and intonation. Join to improve your ability to speak clearly and with confidence. First enrollment is for a 3 month period with a maximum of 25 participants to make sure everyone gets enough attention!
