Bitcoin - The minimum withdrawal amount
GoUrl
Our Gateway (GoUrl.io) automatically forward you ALL coins received on your internal wallet address/es including all payments with incorrect amounts (unrecognised payments) every 30 minutes when the balance on your bitcoin account is 0.01 BTC (0.01 LTC / 0.0005 BCH) or more.
Q: Why do you need a minimum balance for automatic withdrawal ?
A: The Bitcoin network dynamically calculates the transaction fee when we send a payment to your external bitcoin address. Sometimes the bitcoin network transaction fee reaches $ 100 - $ 200, and we cannot calculate the amount of the transaction fees until the payment is sent to your external address.
Possible situation - user account balance is $ 89, transaction fee is $ 120, and we have to pay our own bitcoins $ 31 ($ 89-120) as the forward bitcoin fee on user external bitcoin wallet. Read article - Bitcoin’s transaction fees Jump by 344%.
To prevent your account from going negative balance, we have set a minimum amount for auto withdrawal. It also prevents spam transactions.
Network transaction fees depends on the block size (on the bitcoin network - 1mb, on the bitcoin cash network - 8mb).
Therefore, transaction fees on the Bitcoin Cash network are always low ($ 0.1 – 0.4).
Please use Bitcoin Cash for small payments (bitcoin cash minimum forward amount is 0.0005 BCH; i.e. 20 times less than bitcoin minimum amount)!
We add to your amount in the payment box a small fraction after the decimal point to uniquely identify each of your visitors individually. Users who have made payments with wrong amount are not recognised and you need to process such payments manually. You can see a separate table below with details of incorrect/unrecognised received payments.
If your user contacts us, regarding the incorrect sent payment, we will forward your user to you (because our system forwards all received confirmed payments to you). We provide a payment gateway only. You need to deal with your user directly to resolve the situation or return the incorrect payment back to your user. In unrecognised payments statistics table below you will see the original payment sum and transaction ID - when you click on that transaction's ID it will open external blockchain explorer website with wallet address/es showing that payment coming in. You can tell your user about your return of that incorrect payment to one of their sending address (which will protect you from bad claims)
