Bisq Easy: the decentralized exchange arrives on Android
Atlas21 (Newsroom)The P2P Bitcoin trading platform is now available on Android with native Tor support.
Bisq, one of the best-known peer-to-peer Bitcoin exchanges, has officially launched its mobile application for Android devices. Bisq Easy is now available for download both as a direct APK file and via the Google Play Store.
The app preserves the project’s original philosophy: private peer-to-peer transactions without the need for KYC (Know Your Customer) or any registration that could compromise user anonymity.

One of Bisq Easy’s key features is the ability to run a P2P node directly from the Android device. The app automatically connects to the Tor network, ensuring privacy and secure communications. This implementation replicates the desktop experience: the smartphone becomes a node on the Bisq network, communicating through the integrated Tor network with full encryption.
Attention has also been given to resource optimization: when the app runs in the background, network connectivity generally remains active for a variable period depending on system usage and available resources. If the connection is interrupted, the system is designed to automatically reconnect within a few seconds as soon as the user reopens the app.
In addition, the development team is working on Bisq Connect, a companion app that will act as a “remote control” for a Bisq desktop node or one hosted on a VPS. This solution will allow users to manage their main node via a secure Tor connection and will be available for both Android and iOS.
The developers encourage users to try the app and share feedback to further improve the service.
