I've been with my husband for 9 years. When we began dating he was open about his past of dating men and women. He claims to be bisexual. It didn't bother me at first until I started to really fall for him. His biggest fear was what women would think of his past when dating them. We got through our issues and still together with a baby.
It seems like society as a whole accepts woman to be bisexual and if a man has been with men he's gay.
As a woman, would you be able to date a man that has been with men in the past?
And, do you think it's more accepted for woman to explore same sex relationships than men?
I have dated a bisexual man and it did not bother me.
Yes it is more accepted for women to be bisexual, even celebrated sometimes (not to say they don't have issues of discrimination)
Yes, I could absolutely be with a bisexual man. I'm bisexual myself.
Yes, I think that society often stigmatises bisexuality in men, but often (by false means) glorifies it in women. It's an incredibly frustrating double standard.
Yes, I could date a man who has been with men. As a bisexual person, I actually really hate the way bisexuals are treated in the LGBT community. And men have it so much worse. It would not bother me, but you're right about the prevailing view in our culture.
Would I have dated a bisexual man? Nope.
And yes, it is more acceptable for women to be bi. It's one those things where no one looks twice when a guy walks around with his shirt but if it was a woman is be a problem.
I personally couldn't date a man that's been with other men. My best friend is going through this right now. She's really torn about it. I do think it's a double standard. When girls are with other girls it's no big deal but when it's guys it's different. Her boyfriends family is very religious and it wouldn't be acceptable for him to be gay with them. So there's always this inkling that maybe he's gay but won't come out because of his family. I think if he makes her happy and she can get past it then that's their business and would totally support her relationship. However I've had an uncle be gay but marry his college gf because he got her pregnant and back then you had to get married. They went on to have 4 children total. His wife knew all along. They divorced after the youngest graduated. I would just hate for her to go on to build a life and that end up happening for her. It'd crush her. She just questions if she's enough for him. She's not open to having a open relationship or having another man in the mix.
Yes, I would date or even marry a bisexual man.
Bisexual men and women are both equal in my eyes. I think of them no different than each other or anyone else.
I would have no issue with it. I do think society allows women more leeway in terms of bisexuality. When I was younger I dated a woman. I don't identify as bisexual.
I wouldn't be comfortable with my husband being with men in the past.
I don't see anything wrong with anybody's sexual orientation, if it works for you that's great. Personally I don't know if I could get serious with a man who is bisexual. Have sex? Most definitely! Casually date? Of course. Marry and have kids with? Maybe not. Again I don't see anything wrong with it, I've experimented with girlfriends in the past but I like men who strictly like women.
I'm married to a bisexual man. I'm a bisexual woman. We have been together for six years. I love our marriage! We don't have sex with other people. We get asked that quite often.

I wouldn’t mind that kinda of threesome one bit!

Would just like to watch a woman I’m with please and get pleased by another woman. I don’t need to touch or be touched by the other woman since I would already have a woman to fuck.
Exactly. I don’t want my wife fooling around with another man, and I’m perfectly fine not fooling around with another woman. It would make me sick to my stomach to see my wife with another man, but I’ve fantasized about her being with another woman, and I’m thrilled that we got to experience it. The hottest part was when the other woman straddled my wife’s face while I was eating my wife’s pussy. And of course, cumming on her face while the other woman watched was amazing.

For me, a FFM without giving both women equal attention is kind of boring.

My wife told me this story years ago. When she was a call girl in Vegas, a dwarf or Midget was a customer several times for her. Good paying and huge dick she said. On one occasion he had another call girl waiting when my wife entered the motel room.

He said, today I want you two to have sex in front of me while I am naked. Well they did and my wife almost fell in love. She has been bi and leaning more toward lesbian ever since. She is afraid to have a gay affair because she said there would be a chance she would leave me.

I said, "the door is always open and you have a free will. If you do, it was meant to be. Live your life freely my love."

Notice whether she shows open appreciation for women. If the woman seems to generally appreciate women, including their sex appeal, there is a chance she is bisexual . Does she always notice other people's looks and comment on them in a sexualized way? [1]

As with every potential clue, it’s possible she is just admiring another woman without having a sexual attraction to her. After all, women are constantly scrutinizing other women’s appearances.
However, if she repeatedly openly admires another woman’s sex appeal, maybe she is open to more. [2]

Recognize that it’s possible she’s attracted to women but doesn’t realize she’s bisexual. This is not an uncommon phenomenon. Although it’s getting easier, it can be hard for people to admit they are bisexual to families and friends or even themselves.

Go with your intuition. Sometimes you just get a vibe. You generally know when someone seems attracted to you or someone else, right? Sometimes intuition can mean more than words. Some studies have found that up to 60 percent of women are attracted to other women, so it's not that rare. Whether they will act on it might be another story. [3]

Society encourages women to develop emotional closeness to one another. For some, this can spill over into attraction. Realize that sexuality can be very fluid. Studies have found that women define their sexuality more ambiguously as they age.
The tricky part is that many platonic female relationships mirror romantic relationships because they are built on sharing intimate details and talking about personal issues for hours on end.

Determine whether she is going out of her way to be around another woman. Is she always trying to strike up a conversation with you or another woman? Does she try to sit next to the woman at meetings? These could be signs of interest.

If she goes out of the way to interact with another woman in ways a partner would, that’s a sign. Does she show up at the other woman’s soccer games or head to the bar when she hears the woman is there? Does she try to arrange things where it's just for two?
Is she always texting, emailing or calling, and not to talk about guys? This could be a sign that she is trying to get closer.

Figure out her relationship status. Although some women in relationships with men discover they are really bisexual, if she seems to have no man in her life, that’s also a sign she could be bisexual. Although, just because she doesn't have a man doesn't always mean she is bisexual or a lesbian. It could just mean she isn't dating.

This is especially true if she seems like she has never had a man in her life in a romantic sense. Inquire about past romantic relationships that were serious.
Check out her social media. Does she post pictures of herself with only male friends and a lot of females? Does she seem to be surrounded by women a lot who aren’t relatives? What's her body language like around them? All of these could be signs.
