Birds of a Feather
Abel Isaiah
I want you to stay with me, always. Even when we're old and our hair turned grey, and I'm no longer here. I can't imagine my life without you. If you ever decide to leave, I don't want to stay behind—I'd go with you, because it's always been you for me.
When things get tough, and I'm feeling down, I don't want you to save me. I'd rather have nothing if it means not having you. We're like birds of a feather, meant to stick together. I know I used to think I was better off alone, but now I see how much better it is with you.
I don't know why I'm crying; maybe it's because I can't love you any more than I already do. Even if our time together isn't long, I'll love you until the very end. I want to be with you until the light leaves my eyes.
Sometimes, I wish you could see yourself the way I see you. You might not believe me, but I see so much in you. You might think I'm just flattering you, but I mean every word. Don't let doubts cloud your mind or push you away.
I knew you in another life, and seeing you again feels like destiny. I love you deeply, and I hope you're not surprised by how much I care. Even though our future might be uncertain, I believe that as long as we're together, it will be perfect.
