Billy Williams was a left fielder and coach in MLB who played for the Chicago Cubs and Oakland Athletics from 1959 to 1976. He was a six-time All-Star, NL Rookie of the Year, NL batting champion, and a member of the Cubs Hall of Fame and the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

Billy Williams was a soft-spoken, clutch performer and one of the most respected hitters of his day. He played 18 seasons in the majors, mostly with the Chicago Cubs, and had 2,711 hits, a .290 average and 426 home runs.
