Despite the memes, some curious (or masochistic) fans appear interested. A Change.org petition titled 'Let Billy McFarland Throw Fyre Festival 2 So We Can Watch the Chaos' has already garnered 15,000 signatures. Meanwhile, a satirical GoFundMe titled 'Bail Money for Billy' has raised $237.

Legal experts warn that McFarland, still on probation, could face scrutiny if funds are mishandled. 'Any misstep could land him back in hot water,' said attorney Rebecca Ford.

When asked for comment, McFarland simply replied, 'Trust me.'
