BikyBikes Privacy Policy

BikyBikes

Last updated: October 15, 2026

BikyBikes helps families follow their children's bike rides. This policy explains, in general terms, what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. BikyBikes is provided by Biky Inc. ("we", "us").

Information we collect

  • Account information. When an adult signs in with Apple or Google, we receive basic account details, such as a name and email address.
  • Family information. The family name, the adults in the family and their roles.
  • Rider profiles. Information a parent adds about a child, such as a first name or nickname, an emoji, birth year and basic details used for activity estimates.
  • Ride data. While a ride is in progress, the child's Apple Watch shares location and related ride information, such as speed, distance and battery level. Location is not collected between rides.
  • Walk together. When an adult uses this feature, the app uses that phone's location to compare it with the rider's position. We keep only the latest position and remove it when the walk ends.
  • Technical information. Information needed to run the service, such as device type, app version and notification tokens.
  • Consent records. When you accept our terms and give parental consent, we keep a record of it.

We do not read health data. A finished ride may be saved to the Health app on the watch as a workout; that stays on your device.

How we use information

We use information to provide BikyBikes: to show rides on the map, send safety alerts and summaries, and keep ride history. We also use it to keep the service secure and working properly, to answer support requests and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, show ads or use your information to track you across other apps and websites.

Sharing

Family information is visible only to the adults in your family. We work with a small number of service providers, such as cloud hosting, notification delivery, maps and sign-in, who process information on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect someone's safety.

Storage and retention

Data is stored on servers in the United States. We keep information while your family uses BikyBikes. Detailed location points from rides are kept for a limited time and then removed; ride summaries stay in your history. When you delete a rider's data or your account, we delete the related information, unless we are required to keep it by law.

Your choices

  • Review and update family and rider information in the app.
  • Delete a rider's data or your account at any time in the app.
  • Turn off notifications or location access in iOS Settings.
  • Contact us with questions or requests about your information. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.

Children

BikyBikes is meant for parents and guardians. Children do not create accounts, and information about a child is collected only with a parent's consent. See our Children's Privacy Notice for details.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls that keep each family's data separate. No system is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. If the changes are significant, we will let you know in the app or by other means.
