Here's a digital painting I've been working on in order to really push myself in terms of shading and blending skin tones. Had to really force myself to keep adding darker shades...in the past I've been very timid with dark and light values, which have left some of my colored pieces feeling flat. Really happy with how this one came out. The face is still not quite where I wanted it to be, but I think it's a considerable step up from previous works.

I'm beyond flattered by your kind words. This is not in my usual artistic wheelhouse, so I'd be lying if I said this didn't take an enormous amount of time experimenting and blending. Again, I appreciate so much the feedback, and will probably begin leaning into this style more often myself.
