Everythig has been said below. It is really pleasent reissue with beatutiful artwork and nice quality pressing.
Is this available anywhere in the US or is it EU exclusive?
Overall a good release. Artwork and graphic design is amazing. Remastering is good except that the volume mistakes on No Devotion STILL haven’t been corrected. One complaint: the 7” with the etched B-sides is not etched. I complained to Mechanica and they sent me another copy which also wasn’t etched. When I complained again I was told that no copies got etched. Pretty lame response and a pretty stupid mistake.
I have to concur with the other reviewers here and say that this is a very solid re-release. In fact, I'd say this version sounds better than the original US Wax Trax vinyl which was always a bit tinny and low on bass tones. The music pops and cracks out of the speakers at a very nice resonance and volume, and the vinyl is pressed extremely well. The glossy gatefold is a nice touch, and the inclusion of the Tv Mind remix is a real selling point considering it was only ever on CD originally (anyone who knows Meat Beat Manifesto's "Helter Skelter" will recognize the vocal from this remix) . I could take or leave the Razormaid remix -- Joseph Watt was always a hack and his "remixes" (sloppy edits, more like) were consistently garbage.

My one and only complaint is these damn euro paper inner sleeves, man. They're just terrible, and too many companies use them. In this case they barely fit into the gatefold jacket, either. The gatefold is a bit too small for them, and you have to cram them in there. But these generic paper inners need to go away, they're not at all conducive for correct record care. The records end up getting scuffed and stained from the get-go, meaning that anyone paying attention will immediately throw them in the garbage so they can replace them with proper poly-lined ones. At any rate, this is a pretty excellent re-issue. I sincerely hope they do something similar for "Beers, Steers, and Queers".
The quality of this pressing is beyond anything I could have anticipated. It is complete. You have all the singles compiled on the second record, a super glossy gatefold, expanded art, a postcard with a 1st gen incarnation pic of RIchard, Al, and Luc, then, as if the whole package wasn't enough, you have the razormaid mix of We Shall Cleanse the World on a separate 7 inch, with a picture etched on the reverse. In case I didn't mention, it sounds amazing. This was lovingly compiled, it blows my original pressing out of the water I hate to say. This label has their act together, if they do B,S,Q, I'm going to have to get that too. I have to say, I have always loved this album, and felt that it's packaging always felt like it didn't do it justice. It was great to see something like this done. Hope this label keeps it up.
A brilliant album, but, as I realised when I saw RevCo live back in 2017, it's a strange one to dance to. 38 is about the Heysel Stadium disaster and Union Carbide is about the Bhopal disaster. Feels very odd boogying to them!
This was... an experience. I just listened to my copy for the first time & was blown away by the range & quality of the sound. The percussion on “We Shall Cleanse The World” was made to sound this good. What a workout my turntable got. Oh & the Razormaid Mix really caps off the album & makes the entire listening experience feel comprehensive. I haven’t yet grabbed the Trait reissue from Mecanica, but you can be damn sure it’ll be in my cart if these reissues keep up!
This has got to be a bootleg. Especially with the inclusion of the Razormaid mix.
I love that this has come full circle with the Razormaid! remix (from 1000 Homo DJs to actually releasing it officially). Amazing.
As noted in the Release Notes the tracklisting for Tracks 10 and 13 is incorrect and incomplete.
Is this a new version of '...On Fire'??? Sounds like it and comparison in my DAW certainly reveals it to be a unique version.
The compression is ghastly on this release. I think the Wax Trax/TVT versions are much preferred digital versions of this wonderful album.
