THE latest sex scene on Big Little Lies has everyone talking, but did it show too much of Nicole’s co-star Alexander Skarsgard?
VIEWERS were left disturbed by Nicole Kidman’s latest sex scene on Big Little Lies ... and it had to do with Alexander Skarsgard’s penis.
Kidman (who plays Celeste) featured in a violent and provocative sexual encounter on the hit HBO show, this time involving full frontal nudity from Skarsgard, who plays her abusive husband Perry.
But it was Skarsgard’s private parts that left viewers debating whether he had used a prosthetic penis for the confronting scene.
“I was not expecting to see ALL of Alexander Skarsgard but woah,” one viewer noted.
“This absolutely better be Alexander Skarsgard's d*ck or I'm going to sue you, @HBO,” tweeted another.
Other users simply asked: “Is that Alexander skarsgard’s real d***?”
“Either Alexander Skarsgard has the biggest dick on earth or they used a rubber hose of some sort on Big Little Lies tonight.”
Nicole Kidman says the violent scenes on Big Little Lies took a toll on her physically and emotionally.
Big Little Lies has made a strong statement about sexual and domestic violence, with Kidman revealing that she “wanted to tap into the truth” of abuse.
“After we shot some of the really, really violent scenes, I was in a lot of pain myself,” Kidman told Vulture .
“My body was. It was very strange. It was very uncomfortable,” Kidman said.
“It wasn’t a good feeling, I have to say.”
“But women go through this, so I wanted to tap into the truth of it, and I wanted to be real in those scenes, so that’s what it required — an element of violence,” Kidman told vulture.com .
“I was pretty beat up myself. It wasn’t good. I feel weird talking about it.
“It’s probably one of the hardest roles I’ve had to talk about because I’m still very raw about it, if that makes any kind of sense. It’s weird.”
And speaking to vogue.com , Kidman revealed her husband Keith Urban wanted to take a photo of her back “because it’s covered in deep, massive bruises”.
“He was devastated seeing it but then he would say, ‘But I have an artist wife,’” Kidman said in an interview with US Vogue .
“He knows that’s how I work, I don’t even notice it half the time.”
A TV anchor has broken ranks during a live broadcast to blast the station for the “rude” and “cruel” way it farewelled his co-host.
Fabien Frankel appeared in a sex scene on last week’s episode of House of the Dragon, and he’s revealed it’s something he planned for six months in advance.
The award-winning journalist was given the ultimatum 40 minutes after the interview was initially scheduled to start, before she pulled the plug.

Nicole Kidman is a woman trapped in an alternately abusive and passionate relationship on Big Little Lies.
The fifth episode of the HBO show explored the complexities of the disturbing marriage between Celeste ( Kidman ) and Perry (Alexander Skarsgard) on Sunday night.
Early in the episode the gorgeous and wealthy couple can be seen passionately locked in sexual intercourse on the family's kitchen countertop.
Fiery: The fifth episode of the HBO show explored the complexities of the disturbing marriage between Celeste (Nicole Kidman) and Perry (Alexander Skarsgard) on Sunday night
Fast and furious: Early in the episode the gorgeous and wealthy couple can be seen passionately locked in sexual intercourse on the family's kitchen countertop
Abusive Perry is almost nude as he places his wife on the kitchen counter while he wears nothing but a bathrobe.
The intensity of their passion is overwhelming, but is underscored by the terrifying instances of emotional and physical abuse showcased in the mini series.
In an effort to salvage their marriage, in episode three, following another violent outburst by Perry the two go to a therapist for help.

Locked in heat: The intensity of their passion is overwhelming, but is underscored by the terrifying instances of emotional and physical abuse showcased in the mini series
Inseparable, for better or worse: The duo have an unhealthy dynamic
While Perry, partially admitted to abusing his wife to the counselor, in a private session Celeste is more guarded.
Her therapist, expertly portrayed by Robin Weigert, delicately probes the topic of her husband's violence.
Celeste, while internally visualizing the various humiliations and abusive wrath she endures from her husband (and in its own twisted way how the abuse turns her on), lies to her therapist, protecting her spouse from any potential ramifications.
Not TV, it's HBO: The two engage in some gymnastic maneuvers
Final moments: Throughout the episode the passionate moment is revisited
A telling moment shows Kidman's character covering her various bruises with a makeup kit before seeing the counselor.
The seven part series stars Kidman alongside Reese Witherspoon and Shailene Woodley.
It is based off the best selling novel by Liane Moriarty of the same name.
Begging forgiveness: The cycle of their dynamic sees furious lovemaking and then contrition following every one of Perry's outbursts

Nicole Kidman has played a slew of transformative roles throughout her three-decade career. But rarely has a character had such a strong personal impact on her as Celeste — the mother of two trying to navigate her way through an abusive relationship that Kidman so beautifully portrayed in HBO’s megahit miniseries Big Little Lies .

Filming scenes where her character often engaged in rough sexual acts to please her husband Perry ( Alexander Skarsgård ), seconds before (or in some cases, after) being slapped or pushed or mentally abused, Kidman was physically and emotionally naked. And she absorbed every bit of Celeste’s pain .

“I felt very exposed and vulnerable and deeply humiliated at times,” the 50-year-old actress admitted in an interview for W’s August issue .

One scene in episode 7 particularly stood out for Kidman. “I remember lying on the floor in the bathroom…and I just wouldn’t get up in-between takes,” she recalled.

“I was just lying there, sort of broken and crying, and I remember at one point [director Jean-Marc Vallée] coming over and just sort of placing a towel over me because I was just lying there in half-torn underwear and just basically on the ground with nothing on and I was just, like [gasps].”

It would be moments like this when Kidman would have flashes of images of other women who had gone through similar situations. “I’m like, ‘This is authentic, this is the truth and this is what I have to do,’ ” she said. “And it would just come through like that.”

The effects of those feelings were hard to shake when the cameras stopped rolling though. “I would keep on a very brave face at work and then I would go home and I didn’t realize how much it had penetrated me,” she said. “It affected me in a deep way.”

“When I would go home, I would feel ashamed, and that’s the same emotions and the same feelings that Celeste was having,” Kidman continued. “So we were very much parallel in the feelings.”

Kidman was willing to expose herself for her performance, she said, because she felt it was important for the role. “I’m here to tell the story and to be true to the art, not to bring my own problems in terms of what I feel comfortable with, not comfortable with,” Kidman explained. “I’ve got to go work that stuff out so that I can come as a pure vessel to the work.”

And while she may come off as fearless, Kidman said she’s actually the opposite.

“I don’t see myself as fearless. I actually see myself as being fearful at times, probably because I experience fear but I kind of just walk through it,” she said. “I have an enormous amount of trust, probably to my detriment. I still, at this stage in my life and my career, implicitly trust, and that’s probably where the desire to be a part of something and the desire to contribute and not have my own inhibitions or my own censorship stop something or stop the artistic vision for a director or a story”

Looking back on the show, Kidman is grateful that her role has had an impact on other women.

“I’m glad that it’s created the conversation,” she said. “I’m glad that it sort of pulled the veil off. I’ve received the most amazing e-mails from people saying I now understand why women stay or why people stay with an abuser.”

“If that changes one person’s life, that’s amazing for me,” she continued.
