GND started in an era where reality television really started kicking off, and the blonde air head really gained traction. GND started out this way, and then quickly evolved. If all 5 seasons had been that way, then I wouldn't have recommended it. The reason why the first season is great though, is because it acts as a start point for the girls. By season 4 and 5, it was amazing. The trio really started to push themselves to try new and adventurous things. I loved watching them try scuba diving, etc. They all had different personalities, which is what made it really enjoyable. Season 6 went to back how the first season was- just girls acting dumb. I think what I found least enjoyable is the plot lines and stories were very boring. Who wants to watch girls try to camp in the backyard and even fail at that? Or just run around naked screaming? Or would you rather watch girls assisting to produce horror films, show the process behind editing for the magazine, or compete in charity events? For me, it was the former. Just because you are attractive, doesn't mean you need to act like you don't have a brain.
