Standard 3 exposure shot (+2..0..-2 EV) with tripod using Sigma DC HSM 10-20mm lens
- Tonemapped generated HDR using detail enhancer option
- Added 1 layer mask effect of 'curves' to increase the contrast
- Added 1 layer mask effect of 'saturation' (blues) to desaturate the sky
- Added 1 layer mask effect of 'saturation' (reds) to desaturate the rocks
- Added 1 layer mask effect of 'saturation' (yellows) to slightly enhance the sunset
- Used 'unsharp mask' (as always) on the background layer

My big ass coming out of white lace dress
Found this guy which was about 6-7" long and an inch and about 2" in circumference walking along the edge of a trail next to some woods. Couldn`t find the species on the net but whatever moth it morphed into would be a biggie!

Ilford ortho plus. 6x9, cropped. Exposed at 64, PMK Pyro 12 min at 68deg Could have benefited from a yellow filter, but I do NOT have 105mm filters for this big arse lens.

This particular angle was asked of my my Dad who was at the event with me. See, good things do happen if you listen to your parents. I like this head on angle too.
Yes, intentionally left the lens flare and all that in. I admit it, I like it and don't care how distracting some will find it ;) I kinda like to see the limitations of the equipment.
I haven't pulled an all-nighter like this in so long that I can't even remember when. Possibly not since college.
I attended another kick-ass Legend Trips event onboard the historic USS Salem with a great bunch of people. It was awesome. I paid for the overnight to sleep inside the ship but when they said we didn't have to sleep and could investigate and explore as much as we wanted, well, there was no sleep to be found. I took this shot at about 4AM during an incredible lightening storm that went on the entire night from dusk until dawn. Sat on the deck of the ship with my Dad and just watched the storm. Incredible!

"Built between 1945-49 in Quincy, the USS Salem never saw combat but was instrumental during the Cold War at keeping the Soviets at bay. One of just three Des Moines-class heavy cruisers ever built, she was the last all-gun heavy cruiser to enter commission.
Decommissioned in 1959, the USS Salem returned to its birthplace of Quincy in 1994 and has become a part of the United States Naval Shipbuilding Museum.
It has also become one of New England’s most visited haunts, and was included in a season five episode of SyFy’s Ghost Hunters.
Nearly everyone who has investigated theSalem has returned with some kind of experience and numerous examples of Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP), but this is also one location where ghosts appear to be seen as much as heard. Rumored to have found it's way to Deadass Junction LTD,(25 pictures back), a warehouse in Stockton full of old neon signs and bric-a-brac, no one really knows because the former owner of Deadass Junction, Dan Franco, passed away in 2018 and all of his stuff was auctioned off...
