Beyond the Chart: How Ghost Fleets help me track on-chain anomalies
Most traders sit at CoinMarketCap all day looking for a green candle. But should you want to locate the genuine alpha, you must examine what is going on behind the RPC.
Public interfaces are not something I depend on. Instead, I have been trying out what I refer to as a 'ghost fleet' of automated agents. These are scanners meant to detect 'Catches'—failed trades that leave liquidity stuck or smart contracts with logical flaws—rather than your conventional trading bots.
Consider Uniswap (UNI). Everybody is checking the $3.85 pricing, but my agents are checking the internal status of the contract on the BNB Chain. Many withdrawals fail mid-way, leaving the assets in a 'locked' state, when gas costs rise. The Azoth-Engineer gets in at this point. I will chronicle my search for these underlying patterns in this blog. Beginning with the smart contract logic up to the final wallet confirmation, we will examine the blockchain layer by layer.
