We were allowed to test drive the EV9 on the local highway for a few hours, and found it to be easy to drive and comfortable to drive long distances. The EV9 is able to suppress road noise and wind while driving along the highway. It glides effortlessly over ruts and humps. The car's acceleration is surprisingly quick, and it has adjustable regenerative brakes that allow "one-pedal driving" simply by releasing the accelerator.
The EV9 offers a great range and can be recharged in three hours or less at home, or by using any commercial charger. Drivers can choose between two modes of operation: eco mode and sports mode. Eco mode prioritizes the torque as well as cruise control and handling, while sport mode increases speed. Both modes are enjoyable to drive and provide an unforgettable experience for those who haven't been in a vehicle with an electrical system before.
