A 39-year-old man allegedly part of a child sex ring which “passed around” a two-year-old girl in exchange for drugs has been charged with 104 offences including bestiality with dogs and child rape.
The former Townsville child care worker’s alleged victims included children at the child care centre where he worked, his own children and siblings.
He also allegedly drugged and raped the children of drug-addicted women he met through online dating sites, according to the Townsville Bulletin.
His alleged victims were aged from babies up to 16-year-olds plus one adult, and his alleged crimes date from 1995 – when he was in his mid-teens – up to his arrest in July this year.
Police also charged the man, who comes from Townsville suburb of Pimlico, with four charges of bestiality, drug charges, indecent treatment and the production of child pornography.
Townsville Child Protection and Investigation Unit officer-in-charge Detective Senior Sergeant Dave Miles said the man allegedly sought out “vulnerable” women via dating sites to take advantage of their children.
Police will allege he gained the trust of the women, before he drugged and raped their children.
Detective Miles said he also allegedly used one of the woman’s dogs in some of the sexual acts.

A two-year-old girl involved in the ring was found in Cairns this week and has since been taken into the care of the Child Safety Department.
Detectives had more than 300 hours of footage and photographs the man allegedly filmed during his offending which was stored on hard drives and shared on social media.

A 49-year-old woman was cautioned on three counts of bestiality.
Detective Miles described the case as one of the largest examples of child exploitation he had seen.
“This is probably one of the larger ones we have had in recent years, particularly given the number of victims and the nature of offending taken place,” he said.
“His desire for his sexual gratification and his needs has been such that he has run quite strongly to attracting as many possible victims into his trust.”
Police are still investigating the possibility of laying more charges against the man, who has been taken into custody.
The man will face Townsville Magistrates Court on September 29.
Police are appealing for anyone else who may have concerns they or their children have been in the company of the alleged offender to come forward.
They will allege the man shared the child pornography with a 38-year-old woman and a man, 33, who were also been charged.
The man, from the neighbouring Townsville suburb of West End, is charged with six counts of distributing child exploitation material, possess child exploitation material, use carriage service to access abuse material, produce and possess dangerous drugs and possessing tainted property.
The 38-year-old woman has appeared in Townsville Magistrates Court charged with burglary, possessing child exploitation material and distributing child exploitation material.

Is it illegal to watch free streaming bestialit...
Asked in Los Angeles, CA | Feb 12, 2014
I was just curious and went to watch some bestiality porn on line which can be described as soft core. The names of the two websites I visited said it's free and those videos were usual streaming videos . I watched about 3 videos (only two of them worked properly) and suddenly, while I was on the second website, a new tab opened and it said something like "Police. You broke the law of..." and I was shocked. I closed everything before even reading the rest of it and deleted my search history. No one sent me a warrant of any kind, no one from the police came to me or warned me about my deeds, but I'm still a bit scared. I didn't even know that streaming videos would be illegal. I just watched them and they were only 2-4 minutes long.

Did you ask this question a week or two ago, or is there an epidemic of this going on? In any event, your question went out as an Entertainment Law question, which it is not. I changed the subject heading so that criminal defense attorneys may see it and respond. Your best bet is to talk to a criminal lawyer in CA and get some advice. Also, it seems unlikely that police actually break into your screen and announce that you broke a law, so you might want to run a virus scan.
If my answer was helpful to you, I would appreciate if you would mark it either "helpful" or "best answer" if you feel that applies, as AVVO gives us rating points based on feedback. Thank you! Please note that the above answer is not to be construed as legal advice. It is my personal opinion based on your question, and it was given without obtaining the detailed information that I would normally request in order to render comprehensive legal advice. I advise you to consult with a local attorney of your choosing to obtain specific legal advice. The fact that I answered your question does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and me.

Not only would the police need a warrant to monitor your computer, they would never forewarn you that you were under investigation. What you saw was a scam, pure and simple. Stop posting details about your activities on public sites like Avvo or anywhere else.

It's doubtful whether the police actually sent this message. I would do everything to remove any malware or virus that this download probably installed.

This is likely malware designed to get you to buy a product to "scrub your hard drive" clean of troubling internet searches. I have never seen a prosecution in the US for merely viewing bestiality pornography and I certainly agree with the other response that it is highly unlikely the police happen to be monitoring your computer - even in this day and age that would still require a warrant.
