In our tests, we discovered that the Roo+ was a dual stroller that was able to handle. It can navigate most terrains, but it has issues in grassy areas and on gravel. It can also be hard to steer up and over 1-inch curbs. We wouldn't recommend using this stroller off the road or on stairs, but it does offer excellent suspension to limit bumps for the passengers.
The Roo+ has a large storage bin underneath the seat, but it's hard to access without removing infant car seats. This is a common issue twin frame strollers commonly face, but Joovy provides an additional underseat baby carrier to help solve this issue.
The Roo+ doesn't have a self-standing fold or cup holders. It's a small price to pay for the car storage and seat compatibility, but we would prefer an option with more flexibility. The stroller's versatility when it comes to seating configuration is a big benefit. Parents can put their infant car seats either opposite directions or in the same direction, depending on their needs.
5. Delta Children LX Side by Side
Delta Children LX Side by Side scored well for its weight and fold size. It's the top value double umbrella stroller in our review. It also scores well in maneuverability which is a crucial feature for parents looking for a stroller that will fit in tight spaces. The Delta is a bare-bones product that lacks some features that other strollers that we tested include, such as an extended recline or a large storage basket. It is a great option for families on a limited budget or for those who need a second stroller occasionally such as for trips to the Zoo.
The LX Side-by-Side is a lightweight and compact stroller. It is easy to turn and push. Its compact frame, rotating wheels in the front and padded shoulder pads ensure a smooth ride. It's comfortable for all passengers with a multi-position recline seat and cup holder for the parent.
It also comes with a large European-style canopy that provides shade from the sun and some protection against light wind. It also comes with two storage bags, a five-point safety harness and two storage bags.
The Delta was put together in less than 3 minutes, the quickest time of all the test groups. The manual is mediocre, and the assembly doesn't require tools. It is one of our lighter products and folds flat, making it easy to lift and transport.
