This application for a gathering concerns how we face increasingly globalized events that connect our fate, and how we may gain mutual understanding, assistance, and compassion. Recent examples include the coronavirus breaking out from Wuhan, China (2020 onwards), the forest fires engulfing Australia (2019 onwards), the Notre-Dame de Paris fire (2019), the Amazon rainforest wildfires（2019）and the National Musuem fire（2018）in Brazil, and the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster (2011), and the mounting refugees created and unmoored by tumultuous circumstances, disasters, and atrocities.
This is our time, a moment that requires renewed understanding of “migration and the humankind”, and demands collective action to help those in dire need. We are LI Zhenhua, HE Xiangyu, aaajiao, Ang DU Weissenbrunner, WANG Jiangnan. We are expats in Berlin, and share with the moving, suffering refugees in their strive for acceptance and communication; we too hope to be treated equally as fellow human beings.
The coverage of Der Spiegel on the coronavirus pains us, but we remain firm in defending the freedom of press and any individual’s freedom of expression. We hope to resolve the problems opened up by such reportage among people; we hope to express the right of individual freedom and embrace friends and strangers at this gathering. We hope to reflect together on the disasters that impact us and ponder possible ways of building communities that transcend national borders as well as racial and cultural differences, rather than giving in to the tension informed by prejudice and bias(discrimination).

*We keep a distance from each other due to culture and race, and build high walls in our mind. The wall isolates communication and embrace. Breaking a wall is like punching holes in the image. These four holes symbolize the beginning of a dialogue, which is the first step in our understanding of each other.

一个集会的申请，人如何面对越来越全球化和共同体命运的事件，如何在其中相互理解、帮助和取暖，如中国武汉的冠状病毒（2020至今）、澳洲的森林大火（2019至今）、法国巴黎圣母院大火（2019）、巴西亚马逊大火（2019）和国家博物馆大火（2018），日本福岛核电事件（2011），以及动荡局势下越来越多被灾难驱赶的难民。这是我们的时代，是一个需要重新理解“迁徙和人”的时刻，并为那些饱受灾难的人提供帮助和支援。我们是李振华、何翔宇、aaajiao、杜杜、王江楠。我们是生活在柏林的外籍人士，和这些移动的受难者一样，希望被接纳和沟通，希望在人的层面被平等对待。而「明镜周刊」的新闻刺痛了我们，但我们依旧捍卫新闻自由，和个人表达的自由。我们希望让这一被揭开的问题，得以在人和人之间和解，我们希望通过这个集会，表达作为人个体自由的权利，并与朋友和陌生人拥抱。希望我们能一起反思人类灾难，以及如何构建超越国界、人种和文化的社群。而不是偏见和歧视下的紧张关系。

Dies ist ein Antrag zu einer Versammlung - ein Aufruf zur Auseinandersetzung damit, dass jede*r von uns sich zunehmend mit globalen Ereignissen konfrontiert sieht. Diese verbinden unsere Schicksale miteinander, fordern uns jedoch gleichzeitig heraus, mehr Verständnis, Unterstützung und Mitgefühl zu erlangen. Zu den jüngsten Ereignissen zählen: der Ausbruch des Coronavirus in Wuhan, China (2020 bis dato), die Waldbrände in Australien (2019 bis dato), der Brand von Notre Dame in Paris (2019), die Brände im Amazonas-Regenwald (2019), der Brand im brasilianischen Nationalmuseum (2018), sowie die Nuklearkatastrophe in Fukushima, Japan (2011). Ebenso bedarf die wachsende Anzahl von Geflüchteten, die in Tumult und Katastrophen ihre Heimate verloren, unserer Zuwendung.
Dies ist unser Moment. Es ist an der Zeit, dass wir “Migration” und “Menschheit” neu verstehen und definieren, und den Menschen in Not zu Hilfe und Unterstützung eilen. Wir sind Li Zhenhua, He Xiangyu, Aaajiao, Du Du und Wang Jiangnan - wir sind in Berlin lebende Ausländer. Wie die Leidtragenden, erbitten auch wir mehr Akzeptanz, Kommunikation, sowie Gleichbehandlung als Menschen.
Obwohl die Darstellung des Coronavirus auf dem Titelblatt des Magazins “Der Spiegel” uns getroffen hat, sind wir Verfechter der Pressefreiheit und dem Recht auf freie Meinungsäußerung. Wir sind der Hoffnung, auf diese Konflikte eine zwischenmenschliche Lösung zu finden. Wir wünschen durch diese Versammlung das Recht auf individuelle Freiheit zum Ausdruck zu bringen - indem wir uns mit Freunden und Fremden in die Arme fallen. Lasst uns gemeinsam reflektieren - über die Katastrophen der Menschheit, sowie das Errichten von Gemeinschaften, die die Grenzen von Nationen und kulturellen Unterschieden überwinden, anstatt durch Vorurteile und Rassismus geprägt zu sein.
Besonderer Dank gelten @shumww fürs Design, sowie Wang Xing, Ziyi und Simiya für die Übersetzung des chinesischen Text jeweils ins Englische, Deutsche und Französische.

La proposition de cette manifestation statique concerne, face aux évènements à l’échelle du monde entier, comment nous pouvons nous comprendre, nous entraider, et nous réconforter. Par exemple, le Coronavius de Wuhan en Chine (à partir de 2020), le feu de brousse en Australie (à partir de 2019), l’incendie de Notre Dame de paris en France (2019), Le feu de forêt en Amazonie (2019), L’incendie du musée national du Brésil (2019), l’accident nucléaire de Fukushima au Japon (2011), et la crise des réfugiés qui sont chassés par les catastrophes.
Ceci est notre époque, le moment auquel nous devons réinterpréter la notion de « la migration et l’humanité », et apporter des aides et soutiens à ceux qui ont souffert des catastrophes. Nous sommes Zhenhua Li, Xiangyu He, aaajiao, Du Du, Jiangnan Wang. Nous sommes des étrangers vivant à Berlin.
Comme ces victimes mobiles, nous espérons être acceptés et compris, espérons être traités de manière égale en tant qu’être humain. Mais l’actualité sur « Der Spiegel » (Le Miroir) nous a outré, mais nous défendons toujours la liberté de la presse et la liberté d’expression personnelle. Nous souhaitons que tous les problèmes dévoilés puissent enfin nous permettre de nous pardonner les uns les autres. Nous souhaitons qu’à travers cette manifestation, nous pourrions exprimer nos droits de liberté en tant qu’individus, et prendre dans mes bras des inconnus de la même manière qu’avec mes amis. Nous souhaitons que nous pourrions profondément réfléchir aux catastrophes humaines et comment établir une communauté qui dépasse les frontières, les races et les cultures, plutôt que d’attiser des tensions avec des préjugés et des discriminations.
