The Mulliner division will celebrate Bentley's 100th anniversary next year with the release of a Mulsanne special edition. It pays homage to the company's founder, W.O. Bentley and includes a piece of one of his cars.
The model is ordered with a regular Mulsanne, Mulsanne Speed or Mulsanne Long Wheelbase. It was inspired by the 1930 8 Litre Bentley owned by W.O. was using as his personal vehicle. The influence of the car can be observed throughout the cabin as well as the Mulliner illuminated cocktail cabinet with a display window with an original crankshaft from the 8 Litre car that is displayed inside.
Other highlights include a chrome-colored application that runs backwards along the side of the car, which has a photoetched B-shaped air vent that features W.O. 's signature front grille that's modeled following the 1930s-inspired Onyx color of the limited edition, and an optional chrome application that wraps around the lower spoilers to the left and right. The front grille is unique, gaining a chrome shell instead of the normal body-colored mesh as in the regular Mulsanne and incorporating the Flying B logo as well.
The key box is engraved with Bentley wings and features an black flock lining. Key pouches are available to be purchased to complement or contrast the key box. The commemorative set includes a 1:18 scale model and a flying "B" paperweight. It also includes a booklet printed with never-before seen images of the original Bentley 8 Litre.

The key fob's metal-to-metal knurling mimics the textures of the interior including the temperature controls and the shift knob. Van Braekel says, "We wanted the knurling as consistent and attractive" as possible. It was important to keep the size and shape of fob consistent.

Bentley's signature diamond diamond quilting is applied to the entire cabin using almost 400,000 stitches. The lighting in the cabin can also be adjusted to suit different moods.
Outside illuminated treadplates as well as clocks in brushed silver are available as standard. The new 22in wheels have self-levelling Bentley logos.
