Walk to the head position and Star Thru with the girl coming at you. Walk four steps into the middle and face the side position. Walk out to the side position in two steps to California Twirl and turn back on partner.


All go through the sequence twice to return everyone to home position.

Repeat 1 and 2, for a total of 4 times,
to end with original partner, halfway across the set.

Ladies cross to the left in front of partner and go to the man behind.
All right arm turn half;
go to the corner spot (original partner) for a left arm turn full around;

(Right hand lady with a right hand around, partners all with a left hand around,

Red Hot doesn't have to be called from a Promenade. For example,

Do the mirror image of a Half Sashay.
That is, dancers exchange places by having the right-side dancer
(usually a Boy) sidestep to the left behind the left-side dancer,
who sidesteps to the right.


Center dancer and right-side dancer make an arch;
Center dancer leads left-side dancer under the arch to the right-side,
while leading right-side to the left-side.


From a Line of 4, the Center Couple acts as one person.

Also known as Bow Knot and Tie The Knot .

The designated couple (couple #1, couple #2, tallest couple,
sexiest couple, etc.) will lead through an arch formed by
the couple across from them. After going through the arch,
the lead couple will let go of inside hands and
separate while everyone else retains hold of hands. The
lead couple pulls all the others with them through the
arch and the arching couple turns under their own arms
without letting go. All join hands again in the original
circle.


Face Out; In Tandem U-Turn Back (toward the center of the set).


Ends in a Double Pass Thru formation.


Note: The Tandem U-Turn Back is done using a wide loop as in Cloverleaf.

3/4 Dosado; Centers slide nose-to-nose past each other ( Slither ).


Ends in a Left-Hand Two-Faced Line.

If starting from a R-H Wave, finish the 3/4 DoSaDo (to end in a L-H Wave), then Slither.

Couple on the right slides in front,
as couple of the left slides behind.


Parallel Lines end in Parallel Lines.

Those who can Right Pull By and turn 1/4 to face the inactives (1/4 In);
all Finish a Square Thru n (i.e., Left Square Thru n - 1).


Designated Couples move into the middle,
turn 1/4 to face out (face their corner),
then Split the Outside Couple.

While still holding hands, Ends and adjacent Centers slide
away from each other, to arm's length.

Heads Star Right 3/4 (to face original couple on their right);
All Star Left one full turn;
Heads Star Right 1/2 (to face original couple on their left);
All Star Left one full turn;
Heads Star Right 3/4 to end at home position.


Right-hand star 1/2 way to end in facing couples

Throw In The Clutch is typically used with directional calling.
The caller indicates how far to go and whom to meet for the next call.

n’existe plus. Exit l’Entente, voilà l’Alternative. Mais quelle alternative
nous est-elle proposée par ces braves gens ? Quelques éléments de réponse.

Alors voilà : aprÚs seulement 24 ans de conseil,
Christian Multone tire sa révérence, faisant taire ainsi tous ceux qui disaient
que Son Mouvement n’existait que chaque quatre ans pour le faire Ă©lire et amener
plus de 40'000 francs par année dans la caisse de son entreprise. Mais
l’alternative que l’Alternative nous
propose, c’est Nancy Multone. Perso, j’apprĂ©cie beaucoup Nancy que je cĂŽtoie au
tennis. Mais lĂ , c’est un peu le foutage de gueule cher au prĂ©sident de
Leytron. On fait du neuf. On propose une alternative : à la place de Christian,
Nancy... mais toujours les plus de 40'000 francs payés par les Montheysans qui
soutiennent vraiment beaucoup, beaucoup, depuis longtemps, trĂšs longtemps cette
entreprise familiale (en écrivant « entreprise familiale », je ne
sais mĂȘme plus si je parle du parti ou de l’entreprise privĂ©e).

Alors voilà : aprÚs seulement 20 ans de conseil, Guy
Rouiller tire sa rĂ©vĂ©rence. C’était le reprĂ©sentant de l’extrĂȘme-droite au
Conseil, et l’alternative que l’Alternative nous propose, ce sont des
reprĂ©sentants de l’extrĂȘme-droite. Quelle belle alternative.

En résumé, lors de cette derniÚre législature, le conseil
était composé à huit neuviÚmes de représentants de la droite et de
l’extrĂȘme-droite pour un reprĂ©sentant de la gauche. Et on nous dit que
l’Alternative, c’est de rĂ©Ă©lire les mĂȘmes que ceux qui partent
 Rigolo ou
triste, c’est selon


L’alternative que cette formation propose, c’est une liste
sur laquelle toutes les personnes sont dĂ©jĂ  Ă©lues ou placĂ©es. C’est en effet
Ă©galement une des spĂ©cificitĂ©s de l’ex-Entente : un taux d’absentĂ©isme et
un taux de démissions au Conseil Général qui fait que nombre de leurs
représentants se retrouvent placés Conseillers Généraux sans avoir jamais été
Ă©lus.

Et on appelle cela une alternative.

P.S. Il existe une véritable alternative offerte aux
citoyens montheysans. C’est la liste numĂ©ro 3. Amener plus d’élus de gauche Ă 
la tĂȘte de notre citĂ© pour une politique plus sociale, c’est cela la vĂ©ritable
alternative.
