A quick YouTube search for "transgender beauty" mostly brings up videos with unfortunate titles like "Top 10 Most Beautiful Transgender" — but don't let the peculiar (not to mention grammatically incorrect) results deter you. What YouTube's search results aren't showing you are the incredible trans beauty vloggers you should be watching — at least not right away. A little digging is all it takes to
Trans people are slowly being given more space in professional fashion and beauty spheres, but on YouTube, dozens of vloggers are already enthralling viewers. Not only do these top-notch vloggers share their best beauty tips — like perfecting cat eyeliner 101, which many of us sorely, sorely need. They also share their stories of overcoming hurdles many trans people face, such as dealing with unaccepting or even abusive family members, being misgendered, and navigating the path to hormones and/or gender affirmation surgeries.
I've put together a list of my favorite trans beauty vloggers, people who speak to the unique experience of being trans and loving the hell out of beauty. Watching these incredible people do their thing is guaranteed to better your beauty routine and broaden your understanding what it means to exist in the beauty vlogging sphere as a trans person.
Julie Vu is a Canadian woman whose videos range from roundups of her beauty favorites to sex toy unboxings to frank discussions of her family life, medical transition, and traveling while trans. Her practical (and hilarious) advice vids are my go-tos for learning new beauty tricks.
Raiden Quinn is basically a unicorn: A plus-size trans vlogger! As a plus-size trans person, I was ecstatic to find Quinn's channel, and even more ecstatic when I realized she regularly posts videos sharing her new clothes and where she got them, as well as budget makeup hauls and tutorials.
Stef Sanjati is the vlogger I watch when I'm having a down day. Sanjati's funny, warm way of approaching her various subjects—her hormone replacement therapy, her love of video games, and of course her beauty tips—make her my vlogger equivalent of rainy day comfort food.
Kat Blaque has no shortage of skills. She's a children's author, vlogger, activist, and all-around excellent human being who regularly addresses fat-shaming and appropriation, while producing rad makeup rec videos like the one above.
Caroland 's channel has catalogued her experience with medical transitioning, including not often addressed details like changes in her sex life, dilating, and the possibility of future biological children. Her embracing discussions about her body epitomize "beauty" for me—and so do her on-point lookbook videos.
Rica Salomon put out one of my all-time favorite videos a couple of weeks ago: " Sh*t Guys Say To Transgender Girls ," a blisteringly epic critique of common "oh my god, why would you even let that come out your mouth" things cisgender dudes say. And when Rica's not busy shredding transphobia, she's posting try-on hauls and makeup challenges.
Casey Blake melds beauty with horror. Well, not all the time, but one of my favorite Blake vids is the above, an easy (so easy someone with zero makeup skills like me can do it) Halloween makeup tutorial. Blake vlogs about her life, being on hormones, and about the various questions she gets as a trans woman.
Gigi Gorgeous is perhaps the most well-known trans beauty vlogger. She was the first trans vlogger I came across—the one who made me think maybe there were other trans folks on YouTube, hidden away somewhere deep in the site's algorithms. Gorgeous uses her channel to discuss her favorite fashion and beauty products, chronicle her travels, and win at Snapchat Truth or Dare .
Maya is 21, and a retroactive inspiration to 21-year-old me. Out and proud and confident, she tackles tough questions like, "What if I want to detransition?" while embracing her unique style and showing folks how to enhance feminine traits with makeup.
Whether you're looking to buff up your hair extension skills or learn what going on HRT is like, these vloggers have something for you — including a look at the diverse opinions and everyday lives of trans folks.

A transgender woman has been crowned Miss Nevada USA — for the first time in the pageant’s history.
Kataluna Enriquez, 27, who only began competing last year in cisgender pageants, was named the winner Sunday in the competition at the South Point hotel-casino in Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported .
“One thing that is important for me is inclusivity, diversity and representation. It’s something I did not have growing up and is still lacking in today’s world,” Enriquez said.
“Today I am a proud transgender woman of color. Personally, I’ve learned that my differences do not make me less than, it makes me more than,” she continued.
She beat out 21 other candidates to represent Nevada at the Miss USA pageant that will be held on Nov. 29, the outlet reported.
Enriquez — who previously was crowned Miss Silver State USA in March — competed in several gowns that she designed herself, including a shimmering number with rainbow sequins.
“I did not always have money and it’s hard for women to find dresses that fit their bodies,” she said. “Pageantry is so expensive and I wanted to compete and be able to grow and develop skills and create gowns for myself and other people.”
Enriquez said that she joined the competition to share her story and show that she’s more than “just a body.”
“With pageantry, people think it is only about beauty. But it’s how you present yourself, what you advocate for, what you’ve done and the goals you have,” she said.

They're such head-turners that it didn’t take long for them to become popular on social media and gain millions of followers. From actresses to models, and beauty queens--here are some of the most beautiful transwomen in Thailand.
In 2017, beauty queen Sirimongkolnawin made headlines when she won the prestigious title of Miss International Queen.
Before winning the title, Sirimongkolnawin was a dental health student but later decided to pursue a career in fashion. She continues to model and make television appearances, all while juggling to keep her almost 150k Instagram followers updated.
Another beauty queen that made it to our list of the hottest transwomen in Thailand is Miss Mimosa Queen Thailand 2015--Nadia Wiruntanaki.
Working as a freelance model and dancer, Wiruntanaki’s more than 6k followers on Instagram are regularly treated to modelling photos, as well as her equally stunning travel photos.
Actress-model Yoshi Thurapan appeared in several movies and even in a music video of famous Thai singer Baitoey Rsiam. With a babydoll face and skin that is flawless, Thurapan has an impressive 1.2 million Instagram followers.
The former communication arts student regularly treats her many followers to her work (and play!) photos.
Chanchiew is a professional model and a former contestant on the third season of the modelling reality show The Face Thailand . Her face is the epitome of a bronzed goddess.
Although a clear fan favourite, she was eliminated during the early stages of the competition. But the dusky beauty continues to do add to her already strong portfolio with a string of modelling jobs.
She studied communication arts, which equipped her with the skills to produce her own short film series. Beauty with brains? YES!
She is signed by modelling agencies in both Bangkok and Hong Kong and keeps her 137k Instagram followers updated on her jet-setter/model lifestyle.
Ditsayamethanont was once a spokesperson for a South Korean plastic surgery hospital. What we like most about Pynk is that she's both beauty and brains, as she golds a degree in Communication Arts. Now, she regularly posts a mix of selfies and motivation quotes, much to the glee of her almost 50k followers.
Petcharat is one of the most popular Thai transwomen and has a legion of followers (2.5m IG followers!) in Thailand and China, thanks to her roles in several Chinese films.
She is the epitome of sexy and cute combined. (Who knew there was such a combination?) She has appeared in movies since 2010 and was once included on TC Chandler’s list of most beautiful faces in the world in 2014.
Chuthatus turned heads when she showed up to her military draft and made waves online when the recruits took photos with her. I mean, who wouldn't?
Look at that super innocent face and charming smile. We think she has a lot of potential, especially with those cute poses.
Yuemcahai solidified her Chinese fan base by delivering a single line in Mandarin in the Chinese film Lost in Thailand .
What we love most about this stunning face are here eyes, it pierces through you, and it has that auto-smise look. Tyra would be proud.
Rounding up our list of the most beautiful transwomen in Thailand is Blossom Runpetcharat. Like Chanchiew, Rungpetcharat was also a contestant during the third season of The Face Thailand in year 2017.
We find her really beautiful because she has perfect facial structure and glass-like skin. We want to know her skincare routine--STAT!
While this just scratches the surface of the list of the most beautiful transwomen in Thailand, these 10 ladies certainly make a strong case to be included.
Their beauty may have paved the way for them to be noticed, but there's so much more to them than meets the eye.
