Last week, we received the perfect package from Project Lip – their brand new Lip Plumping Kit to try. Here’s our verdict…
The beauty brand, based in Manchester, recently released two new products, the Lip Mask and Lip Scrub, following the success of their lip plumping primer. Together, they’re collectively known as the Lip Plumping Kit, part of the Prep and Plump campaign (#ProjectPrep) which aims to give you kissable, younger looking lips.
Smooth this orange scrub over lips to exfoliate and invigorate lips. It looks, and tastes (…good job it’s edible) fruity and sugary sweet. It can be a bit messy, but sure does leave you with super soft lips.
The collagen infused hydrogel lip mask feels gorgoeus on the lips, and leaves them nourished, conditioned and plumper.
Project Lip’s unique matte plumping primer can be used as a balm or under lipstick. It’s silky texture enables it to glide across the lips, and the formula works with your own natural collagen to enchance and define your pout. Top tip: This tingles. Do not, we repeat, do not, lick your lips by accident like we did..not a good sensation.
All in all, this kit gives you the perfect power pout, and at just £24.95 is a great gift or a treat for yourself. We’ll be back buying more!

There are few things worse than when someone comments, " You look tired ." While this cruel statement should never be uttered, there are a few steps we can take to prevent it in the first place. Nothing makes you look more youthful, refreshed, and awake than plump skin . When skin loses volume, you begin to look tired and worn, so regardless of how much sleep you actually got (though we all admit we could use a few more hours), you'll be giving off the appearance of exhaustion.
Luckily, there are natural remedies that can help combat tired skin , giving you a younger, more vibrant appearance. Try out these practices for instant improvement and implement them into your daily routine for long-term results. In addition to a good night's sleep, these solutions can make a significant impact on the state of your skin and your overall appearance.

Beauty is in your hands. Georgia Louise, the seasoned facialist behind famous faces like Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, and Anna Wintour, swears by this technique to lift and sculpt her clients' visages. By gently massaging your own face (or doing facial exercises), you stimulate the muscle tissue which improves your skin's volume and combats atrophy. While it may sound weird, facial massages feel amazing and you'll get even more enjoyment out of it knowing that it's refining your pores and plumping your skin. Massaging regularly keeps everything engaged and tightened, like a natural face-lift.
Certain foods are known for boosting collagen . Pack your diet with a healthy balance of nutritious superfoods like dark leafy greens, amino acid-rich eggs, avocado, and even garlic. Look for foods abundant in vitamin C and E and antioxidants. If you're worried about getting your fix with your daily diet, load up with a collagen-boosting juice once a day.
Once you've tackled all you can from the inside, treat your tired skin from the outside. You can whip up a natural skin-plumping mask at home by mixing together one egg with two tablespoons of rosewater and two tablespoons of glycerin. Leave it on for fifteen minutes, and then rinse with water.
Adding the glycerin into the mask serves as a natural humectant (a natural way to hydrate skin) to help with visible skin plumping.
If you notice that your eyes are a bit puffy or dark, your skin is looking dull, and the lines on your face are more prominent, then you're likely dealing with tired skin that needs a little TLC.
Hyaluronic acid is an ingredient often used to plump skin due to its ability to retain water and replace the loss of moisture that happens to our skin as a normal part of aging.
