This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use Beam Calc.
1) What the App does
Beam Calc is a structural engineering tool to model beams, supports, and loads, and to view Shear Force (SFD), Bending Moment (BMD), Rotation (θ), Deflection (v), and influence lines. The App also displays ads.
2) Information we collect
We do not require an account and we do not ask you to submit personal information.
- Device and app information (automatic): When ads are shown, the advertising SDK (Google Mobile Ads SDK/AdMob) may collect device information such as the Advertising ID (AAID), IP address, app version, and device/OS details. Coarse location may be inferred by the network. We do not receive your precise location.
- Usage information (ads): AdMob may collect information related to ad requests and performance (e.g., impressions, clicks) to deliver, limit, and measure ads.
3) How we use information
- Advertising and measurement: To display ads, limit ad frequency, combat fraud/abuse, and measure ad performance.
4) Third‑party SDKs and sharing
We use Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to serve ads. AdMob and its partners may process data as described in their policies:

5) Legal basis and consent (EEA/UK)
Where required by law (e.g., EEA/UK), we or our ad partners may rely on user consent for personalized ads. The App may present a consent form (e.g., Google’s User Messaging Platform) to obtain or manage consent for ad personalization. If you do not consent to personalized ads, you may still see non‑personalized ads.
6) Your choices
- Reset or limit ad personalization: You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in device settings.
