Be a Better Alpha Male.

As the Alpha Male you have the responsibility of not only providing, leading, and protecting; but also of being the most righteous and giving example of the biblical philosophy that many men strive to embody. This is no easy task, but it is achievable. Here are 10 tips to improve your skills and become a better alpha male, backed by bible verses that serve as guidance and support. 

1. Preach and teach.

"But be ye doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves" - James 1:22. It is the duty of the Alpha Male to share the word of God with those around him. Through preaching and teaching the core values of the Bible the Alpha Male is effectively transmitting this message to the people he is responsible for.

2. Lead by example.

"Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity" - 1 Timothy 4:12. As the Alpha Male, you should strive to carry yourself in a manner that sets the example for others. Not only in regards to your words and actions, but your thoughts and emotions as well.

3. Demonstrate strength.

"Be strong and courageous and do not be afraid, because the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." - Joshua 1:9. An Alpha Male should exude strength and courage. He should never allow fear to rule him and be an example of someone who overcomes it and uses it as an opportunity to demonstrate his courage and strength.

4. Dictate wisdom.

"Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future" - Proverbs 19:20. While strength is important, it can only take one so far. A true Alpha Male must also demonstrate wisdom in all aspects of his life. He should be an example of someone who listens to advice, takes instructions, and shows patience as he works through any problem.

5. Practice self-control.

"Love is patient and kind ... it is not easily angered .." - 1 Corinthians 13:4-5. The Alpha Male must be an example of self-control. He should practice restraint and demonstrate an understanding that anger and teasing can have lasting negative effects.

6. Show mercy.

"Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy"- Matthew 5:7. An Alpha Male should be a beacon of mercy and compassion. He should strive to show mercy to those in need and forgive those who have done wrongs.

7. Be humble.

"Humble yourselves before the Lord and he will lift you up" - James 4:10. Humility is a key trait of the Alpha Male and is something to strive for. He should be an example of someone who can take critique and be humble enough to understand that he
