آرش صادقی به سرطان متاستاژ استخوان و انسداد قلب و روده مبتلا است؛ بیماریهایی که در دوران تحمل زندان بین سالهای هزار و سیصد و نود و سه تا هزار و چهارصد به آنها مبتلا شده است. پدر آرش با انتشار ویدیویی ضمن اشاره به بیماری فرزندش و لزوم رسیدگی پزشکی به او، درباره وضعیت سلامتیاش ابراز نگرانی کرد.
مادر آرش صادقی سال نود بعد از حمله نیروهای امنیتی در اثر ضربه سر توسط جمهوری اسلامی کشته شد. یعنی جمهوری اسلامی، مادرش، همسرش گلرخ ایرایی که ایشون هم زندانیه و سلامتیاش رو ازش گرفت.
شهریار شمس میگوید: آرش روزانه حدود هشت تا قرص باید مصرف میکرد و از این تعداد، فقط سه تا قرص رو بهش میدادن و میگفتن بهداری قرصها رو نداره... هرچی هم گفته بود خانواده میگیره میاره، شما فقط تحویل بگیرید، قبول نکرده بودن. در اثر مصرف نکردن قرصها، به مشکل معده، روده، کلیه درد و درد استخوان دچار شده بود و حتی خونریزی روده هم کرده بود و توی دفعش خون وجود داشت!
